MMA Fighter Challenges People to Punch Him in the Face, Everyone Fails

Gallery: 11 GIFs of Cung Le Being Awesome

Alright, so Cung Le‘s UFC debut against Wanderlei Silva last November didn’t turn out the way many of us thought it would. (Getting your ass kicked by King Mo on a daily basis isn’t the best way to prepare for a fight, it turns out.) Nevertheless, the former Strikeforce middleweight champ is returning to the Octagon for redemption at UFC 148 on July 7th, where he’ll be facing former contender Patrick Cote. In honor of the upcoming bout, here are 11 GIFs of Cung Le doing what he does best — throwing wild spinning shit and tossing people on their asses. Check ‘em out below, and let us know how you think Le vs. Cote will shake out…

Ok wait...was this the guy who played Indiana Jones's sidekick in those Indiana Jones and the revenge of the empire movies? He was a funny little oriental kid. I think they called himm "Small Fry" or "Small Guy" or something along those lines....

IMO Cung is the most entertaining fighter in MMA. He may not be the best in all skills but he always gives me my moneys worth and always gives 100%. He seems to be a great sport and a good man. One of my all time favorites. 40 ? amazing.

Cung Le is the man. There really aren't too many fighters out there that can put up a gif gallery composed entirely of sweet spinning moves/takedowns that make people look like chumps. I know Wandy beat him. Newsflash: Wandy is a legend in the sport that has beaten many, many top level fighters. Quit holding it against him, for christ sake. One thing you CAN say about Le is that he has never put on anything remotely resembling a boring fight, which deserves some mad props. I don't need to pay $45 to watch 2 guys dry hump- I can get that for free over the internet.

I am not from Vietnam, But I lived in Houston for 5 years. So yeah that...

Big ups to Cung, he fight's like a fucking tornado. Will always be a fan of everything he does(but act). He deserves a paycheck.

Also, Ricardo, you're thinking of Andy Wang. What that says about your level of MMA fandom is for the rest of this thread to decide...

Ricardo your thinking of someone else who is also based from San Jose CA. Cung le is the man but I don't think he'll beat Cote (if Cote is smart enough to take him to the ground)

His Sanshou is top notch, just wish he knew how to finish it on the ground with submissions. But will definitely enjoy watching him!

This guy was really funny when he was on the ultimate fighters tv series and he lost the fight and he was like crying and stuff. I justy remeber him crying his eyes out because he kept trying to swing wild punches and he was a failure to his whole family.

OK, shout out for fucking Cung Lee. He is now 40 years old, started the MMA game late - 2006, and wisely took the time to bank some bigger money from Hollywood. I'd have thought he stuck with movies and his business, yet here he is again. He is one of the few past their prime fighters that I don't mind viewing. And as it was mentioned, his wild spinning shit is still top notch.
