After a successful weekend that saw your old pal the Enabler totally nail his official parlay pick, it’s time to reload for Wednesday’s “Florian vs. Gomi” Fight Night event live from the (not really) historic Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina. The breakdown…

- As great as it is to finally see Gomi in the UFC, nothing we’ve seen from him recently suggests that he’s going to be the force that he once was in Pride. Maybe his journey to AKA helped him rediscover his passion for the sport, but he’s getting a tough first test against KenFlo, who may very well be the UFC’s second-best lightweight. Florian takes this, but the long odds, combined with the wild card of Gomi’s punching power, have convinced me to save it for the parlay.

– Reach and the elevation of his chin are the only advantages Struve enjoys over “Big Country,” and that’s not enough. He’ll be outgunned on the mat and overpowered on the feet, so I’m going with Nelson here, but also via my old friend the parlay bet.

Quick Picks: I like Quarry over Rivera, Winner over Oliveira, Tibau over Uno, Lentz over Emerson, Okami over Linhares, Harris over Miranda, and High over Brenneman.

Underdogs: Don’t sleep on Dennis Siver. He’s been on an upward trajectory of late, and he could surprise Pearson. “Christmas” Volkmann is also worth a look, if only because he knows he needs to win or go home here.
