Advanced primate/UFC light heavyweight Forrest Griffin graces the cover of the UFC’s new video game, due out later this year.  It sure looks cool, but will it result in an MMA version of The Madden Curse?  At least you can’t blame it for making him lose his belt.  See?  There’s always a bright side.

thats the cover.... its terrible but deal with it

i get the gsp cover since im canadian but i wouldn't care if it was worse than this i dont give a sweet flying fuck about the cover

and the game looks good but i think the controls for ju juitsu is going to be really hard

i hope thq doesn't fuck it up and make it all dramatic and shit like they did to SvR (even though i hate wrestling)..... fuck off brock lesnar

Im English...i love England...

I think you should put Michael Bisping on the cover of Undisputed cuse he's english...and he loves England....and he can beat anyone in the 185 division

Michael Bisping can also beat anyone in the 205 division too...he just stepped down to 185 so that 205'ers like Rampage, Wanderlei, Lyoto and Rashad Evans could feel good about them selves.

They confirmed that Forest Griffin and Georges St-Pierre will be on the covers. I doubt this is the official cover art, its just someone's rough sketch of what they could possibly put on the cover when they found out who was chosen. Its a good call on both parts, yes we all have better ideas of who could be on the cover...

but I'm more wondering if someone at THQ stuck Fedor in while the buisness was closed over the weekend. Digitally scanned him into the game and somehow through the Live marketplace or cheat code you get to unlock him :)

I will NOT buy or even play this game unless it is a mmorpg with rts elements and super intense fps sequences and real time cut scenes and it takes place wthin the pokemon universe with crossover to Halo and an unlockable Hello Kitty character with skill points that earn golden guns and racing suspensions! So eat green lumpy shit THQ, you dirty thieving fuckin' bastards!

The really sad thing is that Mask, from Tapout, designed and was on the cover of all the other UFC video games (seriously, look closely, he is the guy being beat up on the covers by other famous fighters, like Tito Ortiz). It is just another reminder of his involvement in MMA, and that he is now gone.

I agree with whoever it was talking about joints and rolling them. The cover doesnt matter at all because you don't play the cover, you play the game. And the game looks like its gonna be the shit, and I think the cover will definitely pass as a rolling tray.

This isn't the cover. Go to Amazon.com and you can order it and they show you the cover. It's just black and says UFC 2009 Undisputed.

Lot O' fagabefes here. Just a cover. Pirate it the right way, and you will never have to deal with the cover!

Who cares about the cover. Plenty of great games had shitty covers. This game could be great or it could be shitty. One thing is for sure, though.... A lot of mma fans don't like this cover. Because of that, I don't believe this will be the cover when it releases. Too much negative feedback, and plenty of time till release, will guarantee a new cover.

Ahhhh....despite what reports "rumors" have been posted on various site...aka cagepotato, and others, the game is being released Memorial Day. Yes THQ did some house cleaning but that was about 2 months ago, so all the new articles that they are firing more people is false. But i will say that THQ is praying that this game is a huge success!

Remember you have to look at it from a marketing stand point. Chuck has only 2 fights in the past years. While people still know the name, he has not been fresh in peoples minds. Everybody knows Forrest from TUF. Every PPV the crowd goes crazy with yelling and chants. Its a decent choice.

i will not, i repeat, WILL NOT buy this game if this is the cover. when i buy a game i like looking at the cover for long periods of time until i forget what time really is. i wont be able to do that with this game if this is the cover. if i do end up getting it, i might actually just have to play the game itself seeing how fucked up this picture is.

The UFC also wants to be loyal to its soldiers, Forrest has for a long time been one. As has Chuck. Randy has not. I'm even surprised they used GSP, but that's just straight marketing.
