GIF Party: Ten Techniques That Excite the Savage in All of Us

Using the cage

No, we’re not talking about the way Randy Couture uses it, we’re talking about the way Alan Belcher and Anthony Pettis use it. We’re waiting for the day Bruce Buffer introduces someone as a parkour fighter.

Where were you for the Showtime Kick?

Sexyama asked for it, and Belcher gave it to him.

At least Shannon Ritch has blessed us with a for-reals version of Sweet Chin Music.

Another awesome uppercut was Dos Santos putting Werdum out cold (and out of the UFC) with one giant clean uppercut. That one takes the gold for me, all the others needed more shots afterwards but Werdum folded like an accordian after that hit.

this article was epic, loved it
logdog52- May 26, 2011 at 3:05 pm
These are the kind of articles I love on cp. That last sub looks more like a kimura or key lock just using your legs (I've seen it done in the oppostie direction a lot... just not this way. That slam by Matt Hughes was the day I started watching MMA religiously! That was bad ass!

How did you miss the Stephens vs. Dos Anjos uppercut? When someone talks about uppercuts, I am always reminded of the 'bowling uppercut'
boober- May 26, 2011 at 1:43 pm

intercept440- May 26, 2011 at 1:28 pm
the second page suplex was the bomb
danomite- May 26, 2011 at 12:44 pm
Moves i want to see performed in MMA: Enziguri, flash kick, hurricane kick, jumping uppercut and that roundhouse knee to the face that Tony Jaa did in Ong-Bak
is Rex responsible for this? why the hell did he not put the flying inverted triangle in the crazy subs page?! Bellator is disappoint.
miscreant- May 26, 2011 at 12:21 pm
The second to last gif with the "vertical suplex" is Matt Kucala, a local fighter here on the South Side of Chicago. I was at that event!

Also, where are the slams that MacDonald put on Diaz' punkass?

Who the hell is that getting murdered via 500 elbows to the temple on the last page, and or is delivering...My eyes are not good and the deliverer (is that a word?) looks kinda like Cecil Peoples (that shit can't be right)
El Famous Burrito- May 26, 2011 at 11:42 am
We have a forum?
Dojima- May 26, 2011 at 11:30 am
^^^Find a gif, Rex? Be serious, homie. Its 2011, if you work for the Internet, you should be able to make them. I dont even work for the Internet, Im more like a loitering bum digging in the ashtrays for refries and looking for spare change in the parking lot for more Mad Dog 20/20, yet even I know how to make a gif.
MKO- May 26, 2011 at 11:25 am
That last submission was crazy.
Also, I am still amazed at Stephan Bonnar's head. Spinning elbow to the base of the skull? Not dead? Damn.

People just don't respect the turtle guard anymore.
