Surely the winner of this match needs to be matched against Tara LaRosa before she can claim to be the world Champion. Also, how would these women stack up against the quaility female fighters in Europe, Asia and South America? The answer is that we don't know.

We don't want this new sport to finish up like boxing with about a dozen world champions in each weight division. To me the answer seems to be to set up a world wide sanctioning body so there can only be one World Champion in each weight division. FINA would be a good example (runs soccer world wide).

Each continent could have thier own Continental Champion and the World Champion would need to defend his or her title against either a continental champion or a highly rated person from one of the continets to cut down the risk of miss matches.

The various promoters would be sacationed by the world authority thus becoming more acttractive to sponsors which would enable both the promoters and the fighters to make more money from the events.

I don't really care what weight class they fight at, as long as it's reachable enough for both of them to make it. I just want to know if Strikeforce will step it up and make them fight 5-minute rounds already. And since it's a title fight it should also be a 5 round fight. Let the women have the same rules as men already, otherwise it will always be looked at as bush league.
