Hey Potato Heads; couple things to pass along this afternoon…
Commenters “Near07″ and “Da Freak” are refuting our earlier report, taken from The Fight Network, that Gary Goodridge has dropped out of YAMMA Pit Fighting’s debut show on April 11th. From the comments on Wednesday’s post:

Hey gang ,
I have no idea where this BS came from, but I am Gary’s training partner and we are in full training camp mode for Butterbean.
GARY WILL BE THERE AND WILL KICK SOME UGLY ASS

As with everything posted by blog commenters, everything related to YAMMA Pit Fighting, and pretty much everything posted on this site, take the above with a nice-sized chunk of rock-salt.
In other news, top-ranked female fighter Tara LaRosa, who openly despises Gina Carano, recently made the following post on The UnderGround Forum in reference to “Crush”:
[S]he is currently walking around at 191 lbs. I’m not making fun of her weight, I’m just saying what serious athlete who competes at 140 lbs, compromises their health, and their professional career by being so careless? Shonie, she’s not one of us, she isn’t dedicated to a higher level of athleticism… she doesn’t even train between fights, to work on the weak points of her game.
Carano most recently competed at 140 pounds, while her next opponent, Kaitlin Young, has been competing at the more traditional weight of 135. As Tara LaRosa previously told Sam Caplan:
It’s of my personal opinion that 140 is not a weight division. 140 is a special division set up for one particular girl who can’t make weight, and everybody else that has fought in EliteXC, outside of fights with Gina Carano, [fought] at 135, which is a true weight class.
Good lord, 191? With nothing else constructive to say, we’ll just leave you with the following video:
