What are you talking about? Gunnar Nelson has never lost a fight against Kip Winger.
yerdoneson- September 1, 2009 at 8:36 am

i heard that fedor and mousasi aren't going because M-1 was not allowed to co-promote

I need to see this and I'll be extremely pissed if it's on HDNET since my cable company dropped it a few months ago.

@ The Clinch

"Let's go Hillary Williams!"

I've seen her at some no-gi tournaments here in Mississippi. Totally dominated some of the guys. She's a mean chick. That being said, you're's going to be tough with Kyra and Megumi in her division.

I'm not entirely convinced that GSP will tap or get "haped".

Granted that some of his competitors may or may not have better BJJ, GSP's proven time and time again that his grappling is first rate, and among the best in the world in his weight class.

GSP's a legitimate black belt in ju jitsu and without the worry of a fluke Serra-like shot in the head, he might very well surprise a lot of doubters.

I'm not saying he will win his weight class, but he's not easy to take down and is very composed the odd occasion it actually does happen. He's faced some topnotch wrestlers with distinguished pedigrees and fared quite well, doing the dominating rather than receiving.

I'd be willing to say, he has a decent shot rather than the "no-chance" outcome that some posters are so eager to dump on him.

Hey... those countries... are related to the qualifying right? If it's not there are a ton of mistakes in there.
Dubbs- August 31, 2009 at 6:22 pm

Gunnar Nelson would destroy Kip Winger
Dubbs- August 31, 2009 at 6:15 pm
I don't see Frank Dux, Ray Jackson or Chong Li, what gives?
Under Banga- August 31, 2009 at 3:46 pm
Hey thanks to the person who put that clip together I enjoyed it .
KidDinomite- August 31, 2009 at 3:39 pm
Yeah no Jacare Souza? He's one of the best BJJ practitioners today.

Is this an all grappling tournament? Are strikes allowed?
One Two- August 31, 2009 at 3:04 pm
wheres Jacare?
The Clinch- August 31, 2009 at 2:58 pm
Let's go Hillary Williams!

Hillary is basically a BJJ prodigy from my home state, Arkansas. Last I'd heard she's doing open mat no-Gi lessons at the same place Roli Delgado and Mike Wessel train, I could be wrong.

Good gawd she has some intense competition, Kyra AND Megumi. Megumi is a killer.
MGalactic- August 31, 2009 at 2:40 pm
I am very excited to see how Ben Askren performs.
MGalactic- August 31, 2009 at 2:39 pm
You're title is correct. Cyborg, Marquardt and GSP will all tap. GSP won't make it past the first round. I am a fan of his, but straight grappling is not his bread and butter.
Koeikan- August 31, 2009 at 2:14 pm
I hope Maia gets a chance to choke the shit out of Marquardt.

I'm hoping for a flying triangle.
yerdoneson- August 31, 2009 at 1:59 pm
not that I'm a huge fan, but is there a reason that B.J. Penn didn't get the invite? I realize that he is right in the middle of the 65kg and 75 kg divisions, but I would think that he could squeeze in there somehow.

Also, I didn't realize that Marquardt was at that level in terms of grappling.
