Heads-Up: DREAM.9 Liveblogging Starts Early Tomorrow at 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT

DREAM.9 — which goes down tomorrow in Yokohama, and will be broadcast live on HDNet starting at 5 a.m. ET / 2 a.m. PT — is simply too epic for us not to liveblog. If you’ll be awake for some reason, swing by and find out how quickly/pathetically Jose Canseco gets his ass kicked by Hong Man Choi — as well as what happens with the rest of the Super Hulk Tournament opening round, the featherweight grand prix quarterfinals, and the Mayhem/Jacare middleweight title fight. If you’ll be sleeping like a normal person, just come over when you wake up and get caught up on all the insanity.

Weigh-in results are after the jump, courtesy of MMA Weekly.

- Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza (83.7 kg/184.5 lbs) vs. Jason “Mayhem” Miller (84 kg/185.1 lbs)
- Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto (62.2 kg/137.1 lbs) vs. Joe Warren (62.6 kg/138 lbs)
- Masakazu Imanari (63 kg/138.8 lbs) vs. Bibiano Fernandes (62.8 kg/138.4 lbs)
- Yoshiro Maeda (62.8 kg/138.4 lbs) vs. Hiroyuki Takaya (63 kg/138.8 lbs)
- Abel Cullum (62.7 kg/138.2 lbs) vs. Hideo Tokoro (62.7 kg/138.2 lbs)
- Tatsuya Kawajiri (70 kg/154 lbs) vs. Gesias "J.Z." Calvancante (70 kg/154 lbs)

Tvu or Sopcast. Channel MMA usually.
I been going to Justin.tv even though most the UFC PPV stuff gets takin down. The HDnet stuff doesn't seem to have any trouble though.

I think Jose Canseco has a great chance!! He is in the prime of his life. He has shown a strong interest in learning the sport. And Personally, I feel he will have no trouble parlaying a commendable professional Boxing career into MMA greatness!
just some dong- May 25, 2009 at 3:51 pm
Hah! Can't wait to see the vid of Canseco getting smashed. I bet he collapses within 1 minute and just starts tapping the mat.

Its stuff like this that makes life worth living... :D

Mousasi X Hunt is gonna be very interesting.
Hunt's chance to (literally) bounce back as a notable K-1 product.
Warcraft- May 25, 2009 at 1:48 pm
Choi is going to play wack-a-mole with Joses head it should be short and sweet.

Emo Sux- May 25, 2009 at 1:43 pm
Canseco is fucked! He signed up for this fight thinking MMA stood for "More Money for Assholes." Too bad.... You cant spell Canseco without "Can"
