Heads Up — ‘Fight Camp 360: Fedor vs. Rogers’ Premieres Tonight on Showtime

With Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers just five days away, Showtime is spreading the word with an episode of their new half-hour hype-series, Fight Camp 360; the Fedor/Rogers installment debuts tonight at 9:30 p.m. ET/PT, so set your DVRs now. As you can see from the preview clip above, Emelianenko is being presented as a living embodiment of "fear of the unknown" — an immortal of MMA with no apparent weaknesses — while Brett Rogers is the man of little fear and great faith, who can create his own legend with a win on Saturday.

Fight Camp 360 will take viewers inside the training camps of both fighters, from Fedor’s remote compound in Stary Oskol, to Rogers’s home base in Minnesota. For a better idea of what you’ll be seeing tonight, check out MMA Fanhouse’s detailed recap of the show, and MMA Junkie’s exclusive photo set from Emelianenko’s camp (warning: shirtless Jerry Millen). @Lunk Rogers is gonna be pretty slow and inexperienced compared to fedor so his stand-ups kinda negated to a perfectly timed power shot, this is his only chance to win fedors smart and knows this and with his Sambo background it shouldn't be hard to get the big guy down, fedor WILL submit him when it goes to the ground. If fedor can't get it to the ground Rogers does have a chance hes a big dude with a lot of power. fedor gots some power too tho. this is gonna be awesome!

Does it bother anyone else how Ariel Helwani says Fedor?? Sounds like he is throwing in an extra "o" after "Fe"...

strike force has done a good job promoting the fight last sunday during football!! friends of mine that are casual fans were asking me if i have heard of him and if he was any good,so i informed them and they'll defintly be watching the fight. so strikeforce is starting to turn someheads!!!

I feel like its a good bet. Rogers beat Arlovski in what , 11 seconds? It took Fedor a couple minutes to do the same, and he was kinda gettin beat in the standup before that. Do the MMAth.

@lunk ouch 400$ should threw it on mayhem if ya were looking for an underdog hes +220. or put it on fedor you could of made 80$ better than losing 400
two_black_eyes- November 3, 2009 at 9:09 am
you bet $400 against a guy with tons of experience and virtually no losses for a dude that worked at sams changing tires like 6 months ago? you must not understand the power of the sweater.
Mike Milbury- November 3, 2009 at 9:01 am
@Lunk: Wouldn't it better to not bet and use the $400 for the Christmas presents?
Lunk- November 3, 2009 at 8:56 am
I also dropped a little money on Miller and Sokoudjou. Come to think of it, Nov 7 is gonna make or break my kids Christmas.

I actually did bet $400 on Brett Rogers +400. I was pretty excited about it, especially when Fedor got married. But now Im gettin kinda nervous. $400 is alot to me.

I think they'll sneak in Roxy if theres a quick knock out or Sub. at laest i'm hoping
Mike Milbury- November 3, 2009 at 8:32 am
@One Two: For a card you're so excited about, you should probably know that there are only four televised fights.
agentsmith- November 3, 2009 at 8:30 am
Regardless of who wins, at least Fedor knows he has a hook-up for cheap tires to smash with sledgehammers.
knucklesamitch- November 3, 2009 at 8:29 am
If Rogers somehow wins this fight, does Strikeforce go out of business by December like EliteXC did thanks to Kimbo/Petruzelli?

fidor? I think thats pretty close its kinda like theodore in america? why Americans pronounce his name with a russian accent I don't know Feeyaydor feeadoor fidoor the american pronunciation is fey-door god damn it.

heres fedor prounouncing it sounds like fyodor?

This Fedor guy is gonna get rocked. Brett is no joke, he is a whoop-ass farmer and Fedor is about to become his main crop.

You heard it here first, dump all that disposable cash you have kicking around on Brett Rogers. Go ahead, I'll wait.
Jugger- November 3, 2009 at 8:06 am
You'd think voice-over-guy would do a little homework and figure out how to correctly pronounce his name.
One Two- November 3, 2009 at 7:52 am
yesss! its nice to have a card i'm actually excited for, with 5 awesome fights.

It is about time...too little too late. This is too bad, it looks like it would have done a good job if they aired this starting 2 weeks ago.
