Polish strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski will test his power against something other than inanimate objects this Friday night, as he takes on pro boxer Marcin "El Testosteron" Najman at KSW 12 in Warsaw, Poland. It will be the MMA debut for both men, but neither is a novice to the fight game in general. Pudzianowski has done a little karate and some amateur boxing (though you’d never know it from the above training video) and Najman is 13-4 as a boxer. But if he thinks Pudzianowski is just going to stand there like an immobile mass of muscle and bronzer, he better think again. As M-Pud told Fight Magazine:
“If Najman wants to exchange punches with me I wish him luck. I won’t be as slow as an ox and I won’t let him beat me up. My mother didn’t raise me to be a bum. These hands can hurt; believe me.”
You know what really intimidates and confuses opponents? Telling them all the things you’re not going to do. Also, whose mother raises them to be a bum? That’s just terrible parenting. Pudzianowski is a fucking tank, I loved watching him compete in WSM. He's probably a better athlete than Lesnar, with a decent skill set he could do some damage in smaller shows.

If I remember correctly Pudzianowski stopped boxing because he didn't like getting punched. Not sure how he'll cope with MMA then.

Some of you guys must have never heard of editing before just cause in the video all you see is him jumping rope and hitting the pads isn't necessarily exactly what he did or in which order he did that. We are talking about a man who can carry 2 full size refridgerators and move as fast as a car going 15-20 mph. You got to realize he is not cutting any weight for this he is weighing in at 315lbs tell me if any of you guys could move like that weighing in at your weight, if he sticks to it Marius will be a force not to be messed with unfortunatly he will never fight in the US because he is too big, he would have to cut more than Brock Lesnar does just to meet heavy weight weigh-ins. He will most likely fight in Japan. So if you haven't already check out some of his strong man competions and tell me he can't move.

Come on CP. All I saw in Najman's video was sloppy brawling punches. Yeah, a little better than Pudz's training sessions but not by much. I think one of the knockdowns/sitdown was even by a low blow. Quite the highlight indeed. Pudz needs to close the distance and smother/suffocate him with his strength. He may eat a few punches but boxers aren't known for their wrestling/clinch-game and take-down defense.
