Another promo, another dilapidated warehouse to shoot it in. Brett Rogers is already used to this. And with his first stare-down with Alistair Overeem in the books, things have officially gotten real. Frank Shamrock gives the fighters props for not nervously pissing themselves during the shoot. There isn’t much you can really interpret from the clip; both fighters seem calm and thoroughly focused. Still, if this was a pectoral competition, it would be the Reem in a walk-off.
After the jump: Overeem explains his 2.5-year absence from Strikeforce, discusses the legality of horse-meat in the United States — like, actual horse-meat, we’re not using that as a euphemism for steroids this time — and plugs his documentary.

Until I saw this clip, I was thinking, hmm, well, Overeem's probably got this but it'll be dangerous for him. Now I'm thinking a lot more along the lines of, oh, shit, Grim's dead.
Only one way to end it vs. dozens of ways to end it. I'm going with the guy that has dozens of ways. And is huge.
I've been around a bit and I've never met a Dutch person I didn't like. Most of them are really really cool. Well, one was a bit of a sociopath spaz but his heart was in the right place.
I totally agree. I have never really seen Overeem speak much, and from that interview he does seem like a pretty intelligent guy.
Overeem should win this fight. Brett Rogers is a simple brawler where as Overeem strikes with K-1. Overeem also has great submissions and is the bigger fighter. But just like with Arlovski, anything can happen. But I foresee Alstair beating the shit out of Rogers. Atleast that's what I would want to happen, it'd be great getting a Fedor v. Overeem fight going.
Then hopefully in the future Dana could sign them both. Even Brett Rogers too. I mean, Overeem >>> Mir. He could easily jump into top 4 or 5 in the UFC. And well Fedor is just Fedor, give him Cain Velasquez and see what happens.
side note: I eat a lot of Chicken, I'm not turning into a chicken.
Maybe its just that SO many heels have come up in MMA that by comparison Overeem seems like a saint.
Anyways, I can't stand Rogers and I hope Overeem gives him a knee-to-the-face ride to the land of wind and ghosts.

Yeah I noticed that too. I guess he's trying to stay clean for the drug test. Maybe the rumors are true...
