How dumb is this interviewer? My favorite part is when she asks Rashad if he considers himself a pound-for-pound fighter, misinterpreting what that phrase means. You can watch her battle of wits with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira here.

Finally, here’s a Japanese TV segment featuring Shinya Aoki training Muay Thai in Thailand. He’ll need all the standup instruction he can get when he faces Eddie Alvarez at K-1 Dynamite!! on New Year’s Eve. Because unfortunately for Aoki, fights don’t start in the flying armbar position.

I found it interesting that Rashad answered her question about how many bones he's broken in the Corey Hill context instead of the Steve Cantwell context. Steve, prior to last week, would've answered "None yet, but I hope to someday!!"

Yes I was! I was thinking the exact same thing. Rashad was "WTF?!" but obviously too much of a gentleman to say anything. I still think he's a goon, mind. Griffin will submit him in the second, as long as he can avoid that cannon.

I hope Aoki uses his stand up training more of defense than offense. I don't wanna see him try to kickbox his way to victory only to get knocked out standing up. That would be like Sherk when he tried to out box Penn, rather than lay on top of him. I'm not saying I want Aoki to lay and pray, he doesn't do that anyway, but I don't wanna see him rely on his standup to win.

Holy Fucking Shit! The interviewer of the VGAs on Spike is a fucking moron. Not just a moron at interviewing fighters, but holding a conversation in general. Watch the rest of the interviews with Griffin and Mir - same questions that are worded poorly.

I know an interview is used to find out about someone or a subject, but this retard didn't learn ONE thing and improve for the next interview. You can tell she tried to do some research but clearly there isn't much room in that shell she'd call a brain.

Kaplan has never truly, technically lost a fight. He's has L's on his record but those aren't technically "losses" since he didn't really fight to his potential. True story... at least, that's what he told me.
