One way or another, we all want Georges St. Pierre‘s body. (*cough*) So it was just a matter of time until GSP recognized the opportunity and put together his own home workout DVD series with trainer Erik Owings — conveniently released in December to hook as many pudgy New Year’s resolution-makers as possible.
But St. Pierre’s new RUSHFIT series is no Situation-style cash-in. The eight-week, 45-minute-per-day program focuses on high-intensity circuit training, with a nutritional component to go along with the workouts. In other words, it actually looks like it would produce results, assuming you have the motivation to stick with it. (Full disclosure: You don’t.) And all you need is a couple of dumb-bells and your own ever-increasing bodyweight.

2. Is this the real deal? Does Georges St-Pierre use this workout?

5. I’m not familiar with MMA or mixed martial arts moves. I don’t want to be a fighter or beat people up, is this for me?
YES. Though it blends some MMA-specific techniques, RUSHFIT is a functional fitness program. There is no hitting or physical confrontation. The value in the workouts is the MMA style strength and conditioning that applies to anyone and all sports.
6. Is GSP RUSHFIT for women?
YES. RUSHFIT was designed for both men and women, and women instructors appear in each workout DVD. Ladies, there is no reason you can’t work as hard, train like a champion the way Georges St-Pierre does, and see results as good or better than any guy. I use my own 40-50 minute a day (6 days a week) exercise routine so it will be very interesting to see what techniques he uses, they are clearly very effective.
On a related note, having 4 "Christmas" dinners in the last 5 days the timing couldn't be better to release this.
I tried your DVD and it has turned me into a lean, mean, grilling fighting machine.
I have two problems: 1) I now have this weird urge to put brown gravy on everything, and 2) Some French Muay Thai guy keeps drunk-dialing me late at night.
Is there somethiin the special features that I missed?
