This, believe it or not, is an actual ad for Elite XC and Showtime boxing put together by the clever jerks over at Showtime Sports. I like to think that the moment the song “Hits & Chicks” was written, somewhere Glenn Danzig suddenly felt like killing himself, even more than usual, and he didn’t know why. I also like to think that after the song was set to this video montage of both hits and chicks, one of the advertising executives at Showtime watched it and said, “I don’t know, you think it’s too subtle?”

That’s when they added the phrase “Jugs and Pugs.” Just because they wanted to make sure that they were reaching the all-important ‘morons aged 14-54′ demographic. And here we were thinking that Elite XC wasn’t doing enough to promote this event.

Is it too much to hope that “Busted Ears, Bodacious Boobs” will become Elite XC’s new tagline?

I'm glad that has only been showed on Showtime. Not exactly good for the mainstream public's view of mma.

This promotion degrades everyone on the planet. MMA is an incredible sport that showcases athleticism, heart, brains and spirituality(the majority of the time). This is how the sport should be showcased. Instead we get an ad that insults fans, fighters and womans intelligence. I will admit that video is the definition of offensive and does nothing positive to help the sport. The fevered egos at SHIT TIME should be punished by means of execution for tainting the minds of the collective unconscious..

A disgustingly depressing display....

when you begin underestimating the intelligence of your audience is when you begin to
really get in trouble. A lot of MMA fighters have college degrees- it really is a mental game. To degrade the sport to such basics is awful, and it's the reason why people will turn it off.

Who watches CBS? Old people. They should show Angela Lansbury in a bikini. Then they'd retain some of the CBS viewership.
