Hughes Agrees to Face Either Koscheck Or Fitch at UFC 135 September 24

According to former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes he has accepted the challenge of Josh Koscheck to face him in the place of his original UFC 135 opponent Diego Sanchez, who pulled out of the bout due to a broken hand. The only problem is, the UFC brass haven’t decided whether they want to see “Country Breakfast” possibly have his lights and his career turned out bydeath%2F&ei=34RmTsODFs7J0AGCotG4Cg&usg=AFQjCNFkGgjG8GZi0SITkNLu7YFawm-w9g” target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”> Kos or have Bob Arum telling Dana, “I told you so!” until the day he dies (some time soon by the looks of it) thanks to a potential 15-minute wrestlefuck session with Jon Fitch.

Either way, Hughes is fighting on September 24, so at least there’s that.

Here’s the card as we know it:

@Todd M
I can put it this way brother Todd...I'm in a location that is so fucking hot, white people simply melt. Some with me are now near death and others are all fucked up with wounds, and broken bones.
Seeing that the topic is Diego has some broken bones of his own, I am disappointed to hear that the match is off...I honestly think that Diego finally turned the corner in his career - and now will are going to be forced to watch either KOS or Snitch ride Hughes down into the mat.

Once a fighter admits he will not fight a friend/teammate there should be a rule that say FINE, your option now is to immediately drop down or rise to new weight class. If you have the same problem with a FRIEND there, then you will not fight.
Sounds gay? No, I've never hear of any MLB, NBA, or NFL player say they would take the seat because a friend played on the opposing team.

Give the fight to Fitch and tell him that if loses, or wins with a decision, he will never fight in the UFC again. Yea, i think that's fair. You can even make this the main event.

RWR, so true that should be the only way either of them get a title shot again.. Ps. captcha says dimethyl, Rogan would be trippin balls right about now

A much more relevant fight would be Fitch vs Kos. Give the winner a title shot, and if they refuse to fight, send Fitch to Strikeforce, since nobody cares about him anyway.
I agree with this 100%. fuck this " no fighting friends" horseshit.
I love FBF like a brother but if the money was right and it was important to further mine or HIS career I would throw leather with him. Afterwards win lose or draw I would still love him like a brother and we would go out get drunk, and be richer for it.

Give it to Kos, he asked first damnit! But seriously who the fuck wants to see Fitch fight Hughes, especially when the opportunity to have Holy Hughes reenact the Horizontal Crucifixion presents itself

The mods jump all over people chirping loretta cunt and yet the knockoff asian spam shopping ads are good to go.
Pen Fifteen- September 6, 2011 at 5:06 pm
Yawn, Fitch fighting another person who isn't a contender at 170. Either give the guy a title shot or have him fight someone who is relevant.
TheCanadian- September 6, 2011 at 4:04 pm
Wait, people actually want to watch Fitch fight?
Chonde- September 6, 2011 at 3:43 pm
Please not Fitch. I'm tired of watching fights go to decisions.
Goat- September 6, 2011 at 3:04 pm
damn - beat me to it :D
Goat- September 6, 2011 at 3:03 pm
Fitch. Just so we could see him finish an ailing Hughes.
Get Off Me- September 6, 2011 at 3:03 pm
I think Fitch could actually finish Hughes.
I see Fitch breaking down Hughes in the 2nd round like he did BJ in the 3rd round, but this time having the ref step in.
