Dana, the ball is officially in your court.

After weeks of pleading, Twitter bombing, and viral videoing, all of which yielded no results, it appears that former UFC Heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia has run out of options. We’re not even going to question whether you were ready for this; we know you’re not. His back against the proverbial wall, Sylvia decided that the only way to prove that he was truly ready for another UFC run was to release the above video, in which he unleashes the collective power of Maine-iacs worldwide in just over two minutes. I simply cannot come up with the words to describe it, so instead will rely on those of MRuss, who, after witnessing those two minutes of pure, unadulterated athleticism, set to a haunting Evanescence melody, said the following:

My wife lifts more weight than Tim. He does girl push-ups for Christ’s sake.

He is in way better shape that Roy Nelson. He is at about the same level as several UFC heavyweights. I weight about 170 and I look about the same as he does doing these exercises. I think they could give him a fight and it would be a money maker for the UFC. Dana won't let it happen because it is personal.

Funny stuff. He's wearing the shirt so you can't see the spare tire he's lugging around that is very visible at 1:20 just before he does the push-ups. Only 9 push-ups and they panned the camera to the side after the fifth one so you couldn't see that his knees never left the floor. Six of the 'prison breaks' because his knees/cardio couldn't handle the nine that he did of other exercises. If this is supposed to be impressive and win him a chance back, he needs to review these tapes better before they are released.

Also from Maine, also think he's a cunt. Why in the name of all that is holy would anyone post this video? It would be pathetic for the average joe, really, but for an ex-UFC champion to post this in an attempt to get back into the big show is analogous to a dude trying to plead his "I'm rehabilitated" case to the parole board by stabbing one of them in the fucking eye with a pen. This is the first time in my life I feel like I can talk shit about an athlete and be absolutely immune to the "let's see you try it" criticism.

He's actually NOT doing girly knee push-ups, & I don't know what they're called but you lay all the way down & lift your hands off the grounds between reps..... because of the way you push back up off the ground, it looks like he's doing sissy pushups.
That being said, he is still a fat slob and this video looks like a bad joke, not a serious video.... and who is coaching him, his mom?

To be fair to the big man, that's obviously the last set of a circuit. Who knows, he could have done that 5 or 6 times previous with little rest? We need a bit more background info here.

It wouldn't be so crappy if he had run a 10k beforehand or something.

The average athletic shoe's cushioning is good for around 500 miles, Timmy's only lasted 500 rope skips. Anyone know how to post pics? I've got a good one of Timmy that will sum up his entire plee of getting back in the UFC.
