2010 on ps3 btw.

Never broke a controller other than spiking it on the ground because of cheap gayness making me rage.. usually because i depend on being awesome at reversals and sometimes they just don't work even with perfect timing. Shine is easy as long as you know how to do it right, and you don't let your nerves fuck it up.

I hated the shine. Caused at least 4 broken controllers over the last couple of years at my house.

I thought the submission system in 2010 was fine. I really didn't have that many complaints with 2010.. all they needed to do was fix a few minor issues, the major leg kick issues, and add pride mode. Fixs needed for 2010.. 1. the ref needs to stop getting in the way 2. the clinch glitch 3. 100% damage to a leg does nothing but prevent further damage from being done 4. horrible replay system (really? You're going to show the same stock take downs over my bob and weave combination knockdown, or that perfectly timed knee counter to his shot?) 5. The super cheap heavyweight create a fighters fighting at lhw, that have a foot of height and reach on me.
If those things were fixed, and pride mode added, I'd be a happy camper.

I wish they wouldn't try and change so much shit in these games year to year.

I think the graphics of the 2010 version look better than this versions Demo.

I thought the regular button mash sub system of the 2009 game was the best system they have had. It's like they are trying too hard to please the hardest of hardcore gamers at the expense of the people who just want to casually play.

I just hope that the final game is better and more fluid than this demo. It just felt a little too cartoonish for me personally.

Man this game still sucked, pride and better graphics can't save this game 4 me(have anyone played 09 , WAY BETTER GAME)
It seems all MMA games after 09 just went down hill, there's always people online on 09(that's how popular it still is)

might sound like a douche but im glad they give you the option of hitting ppl after they go limp... I hated last years how Wanderlei Silva would knock someone out then not try to fire off atleast 20 more shots before the ref rushed in to save the other guys life

@yazloz, You can switch the camera back to "classic". Also, if you sway past a GnP attempt, it opens up a short period of time where you can transition much easier without being reversed or grappled blocked. About Rampage, try playing with the new simulation mode.. I have a feeling that's what all the ranked matches will be played on anyways. Gives a much more "realistic" feel to the game

Are you on xbox or ps3? I'm down for a GP, sounds fun. These games are the shit. For controls, they're making two on this game. The "more intuitive" controls are for button mashers. The latter is just like the other games. Can't wait, Cp Gp would be cool.

Played about five fights so far, pretty fun, will def be picking up the game. Pride mode makes it worth the money.

My thoughts thus far

The submission game is crap. I hate it. Unless you go for a sub when you rock your opponent you basically play tag with those little bars for a couple minutes

I played about an hour and only got one Flash KO so thats good. Even then it was in Pride mode after I had already rocked Spampage 2 or 3 times.

Speaking of Spampage he throws fucking bombs non stop. Its almost comical

Also with Pride mode the larger ring allows for a few breathers, the stomps look solid but the soccer kicks don't look great. The animation is just kinda iffy

The stand up game is less Rock em Sock em Robots. Less shots land clean so you can't just throw haymakers the whole time, unless you are Pride mode Rampage

The camera is different. Not sure how I feel about it.

Pride mode feels better so far but that may only be because you get one round and the game uses an accelerated clock so you only get about 2 and 1/2 minutes in UFC mode.

The cage finally plays a decent role. You can scoot to it to improve your chances of standing up. The ground game still has some flaws. You can't spam TDs but once you are on the ground its fairly easy to jump to mount. The bottom sways help a little but you can't sway and try to stand up so you have to pick one. Also watching your opponent punch the mat after you move is worth a laugh or two.

EA is a 10x better developer than THQ. Hope THQ goes under soon. Am I in the game? Can't wait to flash KO myself.

They need to squash Strikeforce and revive Pride. I would shit bricks.
