“I’m Going to Kick His Butt” — Exclusive Interview With Jorge Masvidal

(‘Gamebred’ takes it to Paul Daley at Shark Fights 13.)

By Ryan Ventura,

Jorge Masvidal is a true veteran in the world of Mixed Martial Arts at only the age of 26. The Miami, Florida native was first seen fighting in the streets, even appearing in a video that saw him fight Kimbo Slice’s protégé at the time. In 2003 he had his first professional MMA fight and even ventured into the world of pro boxing with one fight in 2005.

In his eight-year career, he has beaten the likes of Joe Lauzon, Keith Wisniewski, Yves Edwards, and former Sengoku Champion Satoru Kitaoka. He has fought all over the world, in promotions like the now defunct BodogFIGHT, a previous stint in Strikeforce, Bellator, and Sengoku. “Gamebred” has been re-signed by Strikeforce and is making his return to the six-sided cage against undefeated lightweight contender Billy Evangelista at Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Henderson. Jorge took some time off his preparation to speak to about his fight this Saturday night in Columbus, Ohio.

@Skeletor--Yeah I know. That site is garbage anyways....They have moderators over there who get butt-hurt when anybody disagrees with there half-ass copy and paste articles (they banned a friend of mine for stating his opinion). FUCK CENSORSHIP of any kind. I not sure why Cage Potato even fucks w/ those dudes. They seem amatuer compared to what's goin' on over here..Anyways WAR MASVIDAL!!

He might have momentarily took it to Daley but he ultimately lost the fight.

Masvidal is a great fighter to watch he is just missing that last tool or strategy in order to win the big fights.
