India’s First MMA Promotion Signs Exclusive Deal With Youtube and Their First Main Event is Going to be Epic

Their name is Super Fight League, and when you click on the main page of their website, you will immediately be serenaded by a theme song that can only be described as…divine. Seriously, it’s like Eddie Van Halen, Lil Jon, and Sean Paul drank paint thinner, blew coke, and played Star Fox until this song came out. THAT’S HOW EPIC IT IS.

Anyhow, aside from being India’s very first MMA promotion, Super Fight League will also go down in MMA history as the first promotion to sign an exclusive deal with Youtube. Awesome, right? You want to know what’s even more awesome? Their very first card will be headlined by a heavyweight clash between James Thompson and Bob Sapp. Yes, that Bob Sapp.

Well, I’m too amped to sit down. Thanks, India. If this one goes the distance, I’ll eat my hat. SFL 1 is set to transpire on March 11th at the Mumbai, Andheri Sports Complex.

According to the promotion’s recent press release, all SFL fights will be broadcast exclusively from their Youtube channel. Google will have exclusive online and mobile rights to SFL content for the next three years, but will split advertising/sponsorship profit through Youtube with the upstart promotion.

All sports in India that are not Cricket are second rate due to the near religious love of the sport those guys have, and before all you yanks start going on about how shit cricket is (I actually think it is too) take a look at baseball and shut the fuck up.
We love Cricket in the land of the meat pie as well, but fuck Aussie's love just about any sport with a ball.. except the crap ones noone else but America plays.. and if you place your stock in someones physique then shit you must not watch much MMA, it means a big fat fuck all

Hahahah holly shit that is the weakest thing I've ever seen. @The12ozCurls Traditional martial arts do actually come from India originally; not east Asia. They were definitely honed and evolved signifigantly into many different styles once it moved into east Asia, but the roots are of Indian origin.
