Don’t group Led Zep in their with Arianny, they always added their own twist to the songs they covered. The stealing accusation is levied at them because they credited old blues songs as “traditional” which meant that the original singers did not receive royalties. The thing is nobody really knows who first wrote a lot of these old blues songs and while Robert Johnson is credited with writing many, he may have just been the first to record them and some of his songs had been sung previously and passed down.
The difference between Led Zep and Arianny? They wrote fuckin’ Stairway man (not even their best song) and 8 great albums. Also, they could actually fucking play, like seriously play. They are. literally one of the most important bands ever. Arianny is just a professional hot chick.
