Wow, what a fucking night of fights.....many surprises....i fucking lost over $500 dollars but shit it was well worth it. The one that surprised the he hell out of me was Mir/Noguera. Fuck, Mir showed very good stand up skills, however, Noguera should have known that he was in danger of the ref stopping the fight after recieving many punches. This is not a PRIDE fight where the ref waits till you are unconcious and completely demoralized before he stops the fight. Noguera is used to getting knocked out and being allowed to recover even after a continuous beating. This time it cost him a title. I like Noguera as he represents everything that is good in MMA but Mir clearly beat him. Although I am not a big fan of Mir, I want him to break one of Brock Lesner's limbs. Lesner is not a real MMA fighter...he is a Novice. peace out

Fellas, let me preface my criticism by letting you know that I'm a huge fan of the site. But, I think it might be time to give the mocking, in parenthisis, editorial notes a rest (i.e. "Let's say Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira beats Frank Mir next month (obviously)"). Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that Mir has been the latest of a string of fighters that you guys have openly suggested didnt have a chance via mocking editorial notes that have come out on top. Now don't get me wrong, I wanted Nogueira to win this fight and was pretty sure that it was going to happen but you guys, more than most, should know that there's no such thing as a forgone conclusion in MMA, especially when you're fighting at that level. Rashad's evolution as a fighter since season 2 of TUF is simply remarkable. Just curious where you live Mr. Shatner...I'm in Los Angeles and chicks like Rachelle Leah are a dime a dozen. You must live in the heartland or something.... If it isn't for the UFC pr and marketing machine, she would never have been discovered nor been in Playboy. She's average at best.

I agree 100%. Rashad is NO champion. I fucking hate the guy. I've started training recently and my new goal in life is to make it to the UFC and beat the fucking sugar out of that showboating bitch. I've stomped tougher guys than him in bars. Hes nothing. Chances are, i'll never make it that far. It would be like getting into the NFL over night. It just dosnt happen for small time fighters like me. Hey, a guy can dream right?
