Jens Pulver’s WEC 47 Walkout T-Shirt Kicks So Much Ass

One question for the people of CP.

Why does the UFC counter program all WEC events? I went to set my DVR for Saturdays WEC 47 (cuz I like to party and might want to watch it again later) and noticed that on Spike they were airing UFC 89 right before (Bisping vs. Leben, yawn..) and the UFC Top 100 fights during the live portion of WEC 47. I mean, I realize this isn't the same type of counter programming they do against Strikeforce, but if Zuffa owns both, why are they trying to offset each other?

I think it’s about time the UFC just takes the WEC under their umbrella and merge them into one badass promotion, especially if they are going to start charging for their WEC shows. I think the lighter guys put on just as good of show as any UFC event, and they need to get paid too.

I personally am pretty stoked about Bowles vs. Cruz and Torres vs. Benavidez, and Pulver's left hand will always be a fan favorite.

Fun fact about Pulver's fight, he's taking on the guy I used to take BJJ classes from. Not really sure who to root for, there.
