Joe Rogan’s Spike TV Stand-Up Special to Air After ‘TUF 9′ Finale

The one-hour stand-up comedy special that UFC color-man Joe Rogan filmed in Columbus before UFC 96 has finally gotten an airdate: June 20th at midnight ET/PT, directly following the broadcast of The Ultimate Fighter: U.S. vs. U.K. finale. As Rogan confirmed during an appearance on The Greg Fitzsimmons Show yesterday, his will be the first of several comedy specials that Spike will air this year, and the late-night time slot allows it to be aired uncensored. ("I couldn’t believe it. They don’t have to cut anything.")

Sounds like a kickass night of free entertainment. To refresh your memories, the TUF 9 finale card be lookin’ like this:

It's pretty clear that TUF ratings don't matter any more. The show only exists to have Rumble on the main card and Burns on the undercard to remind Kevin Burns that he is Rumble's bitch.

I thought Diaz won that fight by a hair but the fight it self wasnt boring at all especially when you consider the difference in height and reach. Thats what short guys do with taller guys....close the distance and tie them up. Cant blame a guy for fighting smart *cough cough* anderson silva i am not talking about you *cough cough*

Uh Ample, that fight with Diaz was kinda BS. Bullshit lay and pray. Diaz shoulda won. Sure he keeps a hell of a pace. Ill give you that, but he Hugs and sits in same position for 80% of the rounds. Diego will work him, itll be tough, but i think he will. Guida does have amazing cardio and fights just as well as he does coming in to the fight as he does after 3 rounds. So that will be a bitch. And you absolutely cant forget that guida's hair gives him strength haha.

Oatmeal, i count him in cuse he's a damn exciting fighter to watch. His cardio is next to none and he knows how to win fights.

Ok so he "hugs" sometimes? Thats actually called grappling smart boy. Did you see his last fight against Diaz? Fucking amazing dude, i dont know anyone who keeps that kind of pace.

His fight against Diego Sanchez will be amazing, both guys have great cardio and wont hesitate to engage.

Spike TV is a fucking hero.

As a canadian, I'd like all you americans to know that we can't fucking stand it that you bleep all your swear words and blur nudity (those things fly up north here any time of day).

So I'm really glad to see Spike is will to air it uncensored. American TV occupies most of our dial, so it makes us sad when your rules gimp things like titties, and someone being able to swear.

Joe Rogan is still sick as fuck. Best commentator this sport has had. Anthony "Rumble" Johnson vs. Matt Brown is going to be a brawl. I predict anthony will win by spectacular KO. Clay Guida is going to get worked against Diego Sanchez in my opinion. Hopefully Diego does another fucking psycho entrance that shit made me laugh for a couple weeks. And Nate Diaz will probably submit Joe Stvenson. Those Diaz brothers are the shit. So tight, so tight.

Interesting main card, but why are they having the standup special right after the fights? The last thing I want after watching any UFC event is to hear more of Rogan's strained voice...
