Just When We Thought We Were Out, ‘Mayhem’ Miller Pulls Us Back In

(VidProps: YouTube/DSSFight)

Gotta admit, this Jason “Mayhem” Miller is one crafty guy. Practically as soon as we hit “save” on our rant about how we’re sick and tired of all this Miller-vs.-Diaz nonsense, the guy releases the above video brilliance and – boom – we’re suckered right back in again. The Scrap Pack thought they were being clever with their little internet statement that made it look like it was Miller that wouldn’t fight Nick Diaz? Mayhem laughs in the face of your flawed rhetorical strategy, Cesar Gracie.

Count on the "Bully Beatdown" host to take tihings to the next level. Dude goes all political-smear campaign on us here and the results are pretty effective. Dig the subtle inclusion of Jared Shaw at the 19-second mark, among the montage of “wannabe gangsters.” That’s attention to detail, people. As for the footage of Diaz’s admission that he “can make 185” and wants “someone to offer me a fight” at the 23 second mark? Well, that’s just good shit. Your move, 209.

how about YOU ask the 209...i dont want gangsters doing drive bys with super soakers off their homeboys huffy bike pegs. real shit....nick diaz will bust a cap(s-lock) all over your home(page).....homie. I will be scared.
Charming Charlie- December 10, 2010 at 10:06 pm
Why don't we ask the 209 what it would do?
intercept440- December 10, 2010 at 7:42 pm
u muffuckas can hate miller all ya want...

i like dudes fights, and i think he will beat diaz if the fight ever happens

the vid is totally millers style, prolly the main reason why i like to watch him fight.. he is entertaining....

cept for his pinky stripe hair and stupid laugh......

got to admit the dude is keeping the pressure on the gracie camp.

theres only two ways nick diaz doesnt end up looking like a bitch here, since he says he will fight at 185 if there is a fight offered.

1. he fights miller
2. he fights miller

all other options = 209 weedhead gansta looking like a bitch

whats going to be even more bitchassness..... when Nate diaz opens his mouth to defend his Bro by challening miller to a backyard fight...

hahahah
fuck da 205.4

Edit* i almost forgot .. diaz fucking walks around at like 180 to 190 anyhow when he sint fighting so whats the big fucking whooptie do.. all the mma ers walk around heavier then when they step into the cage..

How are they bad for the sport? And at this point, why should anyone even care what is good for the sport. It has got to the point where there is MMA on every week. It was one thing to worry about MMA when it was in the dark ages, but at this point, the Diaz brothers couldn't hurt the sport as hard as they tried.

Is being a nerd even a bad thing anymore?
StinkFacer- December 10, 2010 at 5:57 pm
....how does it make more sense for Mayhem Miller to cut 25-30 pounds than for Diaz to fight at a weight class he says he will fight in.

Yeah...lets have this guy lose such an unhealthy amount of weight, so that when they actually DO step in a cage, Miller passes out from dehydration before the first bell. The guy would have to cut 15-20 just to make middleweight.

And ps....yeah, he does fight one on one in a cage....and then sometimes he doesn't, a la Jake Shields/Dan Henderson conclusion.

I wont lie, if it was anyone besides Miller, I'd say they're pulling a Barnett, trying to pick on someone smaller (Hector Lombard), but this guy mobbed him on national television. Then threw a waterbottle at him. When you do that, you forego any excuse about weight, titles, or any other primadonna excuse you can think up. You need to man up and step into a cage, and catch the ass whipping you deserve, or deliver the ass whipping you promised.

Bill Jackson,

Bottom line, both Nick Diaz, and his brother Nate are trashy and terrible representatives of a growing market like mma, (aside from their undeniable talent.)

The same can be said for your attitude, you nerd.

Sincerely,

The Internet
Darkside- December 10, 2010 at 4:31 pm
Diaz will only take the fight if he can have at least two of his "homies" in the cage with him.
El Guapo- December 10, 2010 at 4:07 pm
If they don't meet halfway, somebody has an advantage. Simple as that. You can play that "he said-she said" bullshit till the cows come home if you'd like, but if they(plural, as in both of them) don't compromise then the fight ain't happening. Which is fine by me. I'd much rather see Semtex vs Diaz. And the Miller fans get to see more Pregnant Teen Bully Beatdown Real World Challenge or whatever the f'k it's called. It's win-win..
RearNakedSpoon- December 10, 2010 at 3:46 pm
Edgar is a natural 155 and he is champion in the largest MMA organistation, doing so by beating BJ Penn twice in a row who just beat a hall of fame legendary ex-champ at 170 in 21 seconds. Sorry, whats the excuse for Diaz not to fight a much lower ranked opponent at his natural weight?
MorningwoodII- December 10, 2010 at 3:41 pm
That shit was funny homie!
cecils_pupils- December 10, 2010 at 3:29 pm
@ghost - yeah, homie, I know... ya know? Nawmean?
Kimbos Bread- December 10, 2010 at 3:24 pm
But Miller didn't pick the fight. Diaz did. Diaz also admitted he had no problem putting on the weight.

Bottom line: Diaz is scared. Homie.
Almost North- December 10, 2010 at 3:05 pm
Hey Miller, here is an idea. Stop blogging and being a reality host and go fight if you want to fight so bad.
ghostboner- December 10, 2010 at 2:47 pm
@cecil fielder - I know dawg, I nawwhayousayin! ya know?
raton- December 10, 2010 at 2:45 pm
Weight schmeight, Diaz' management is scared he's going to lose and they want to fight a weaker Mayhem. That's it, story over.
ghostboner- December 10, 2010 at 2:45 pm
@KFC - So... You don't nawhamsayin? Ya don't know? How could you not nawhamsayin, ya know? Shit. Ok I'll get James Toney to translate, ya know? So if Overeem was just willing to fight at 190 Mayhem would kick his ass, he said so. It's just that Reemer keeps ducking him cause he is a bitch who doesn't want to cut the weight. What a ducker that Reem.

Mayhem is definitely an attention whore and pretty annoying, but a much better way to deal with that would be to get in the cage and fight him, not jump him with 5 of your friends, and talk shit, and throw water bottles backstage, and do everything but fight him, but keep acting like you want to...

@ dizzlefizz

I could only help but imagine when you said "Love Him !" that you were saying it in Rogers voice from American Dad.
PortlandMMA- December 10, 2010 at 2:29 pm
Gracie had a good point too in pointing out the fact that if they fight at a catchweight of 183 with the 1lb over allowance then Mayhem only has to drop 16 fucking ounces, meanwhile Diaz has to go up 13 pounds.
PortlandMMA- December 10, 2010 at 2:22 pm
If Mayhem won some decent fights in the past few years I think Diaz would be compelled to fight him. But when the biggest win you've had in the past few years is a 700 year old Sakuraba and Tim Stout, then you don't have a leg to stand on. Yes, I understand Diaz's level of competition hasn't been incredible (at least Corrbrey and Denny have winning records unlike Stout), but the guy hasn't lost in 3 years and he is the champion at a different fucking weight class. They need to get Miller and Kennedy in there for the rubber match instead...but Coker probably can't even make that happen.
Sudos KFC- December 10, 2010 at 2:12 pm
ghost boner I couldnt understand you with mayhem's nuts in your mouth.

They are in different weight classes. 1 guy is willing to meet 1/2 way the other but the other one wont fight unless its at his weight only. Now who is ducking whom? If miller was willing to fight at 178 it would already happen as well so that logic sucks ass too Aldo.

yeah and I forgot diaz was the one that stormed the cage and made an giant attention whore of himself...
cecils_pupils- December 10, 2010 at 2:08 pm
awesome vid... I SAID AWESOME VID!

Ya know? Ya know wha'm sayim? Ya know, right? Like ya know what I'm sayin? Ya know? So, nawwhamsayin? ya know? Like you know, ya know? Ya know? Ya know ya know ya know ya know ya know ya know ya know ya know ya know ya know ya know ya know. Ya know???
Bill Jackson- December 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm
Elentius,

How do they back it up with a gang? Do the Diaz brothers not get in a cage on a regular basis ALL BY THEMSELVES and fight talented and tough professional fighters? You're a moron.
Dizzlefizz- December 10, 2010 at 1:59 pm
Love him or hate him. Miller is entertaining and in my oppinion, good for MMA.

Love him !
Bill Jackson- December 10, 2010 at 1:57 pm
Fuck Miller and anyone that thinks this video is tight. The quote was clearly taken out of context anyway. He might have said that about 185, but who knows? Miller is the biggest douche in the sport and anyone that doesn't agree can suck a fat dick.
Joe-Say Aldo- December 10, 2010 at 1:56 pm
Diaz is the minor league champ (Don't forget that). I doubt Miller gives a fuck about his belt. Plus Miller isn't going to go from cutting 20-25 pounds to fight at middleweight to cutting 35-40 pounds to fight at welterweight. So even if he did it once for a title fight against Diaz at 170, he wouldn't be capable of defending the title if he actually won it.

If Diaz was willing to fight Miller at 185 then the fight would've already been made. Fact is, it's one of the biggest draws Strikeforce is capable of putting on right now. I'm sure they want it, we know Miller wants it, and the fans definitely want to see it. That means Diaz must be bullshittin' when he says he'll fight Miller at 185. Ya know what I'm sayin', yo?
