We pick the action up "in medias res," as they say in the classics, but you get the idea. Sapp plays defense on the ground, putting all his weight on that poor cartoon character, then when they get up it’s trouble. Note Kinnikuman trying to adjust his mask when Sapp really lays into him. I don’t want to say that was his undoing, but damn, it sure didn’t help either. It’s almost as if wearing a mask in an MMA fight is a really stupid idea.

So this didn’t turn out to be an epic battle? Color me surprised. I’m not sure if the kick to the pills made Choi decide he was ready to fake an injury and call it a night, but he sure got up fast for someone who had just crumpled to the mat in pain.

Wow...I'm sorry, but that Cro Cop fight was just embarassing. CC has fallen so far from where he once stood and this fight didn't do ANYTHING to change that. HMC looked terrible too. What was his deal? He looked so much better a year ago against Fedor! What the hell happened? Bob Sapp beating up a cartoon character...priceless! That was so stupid, ya have to laugh. I think Jeff and Rick Dickulous are right, most of this looks like a great big work. CC vs HMC certainly looked that way.

Can we all agree that Kimbo/Sapp is a guarantee for next NYE? Having said that: the best show of the year. Great battles, great techniques, great KO's, great comedy and great entrances.
