Wow.  Who would have thought that a) we’d ever see Mark Hunt get knocked out by something as simple as a left hook-straight right combo, b) in the opening seconds of a fight, and c) by a middleweight.  This is the guy who walked right through a Cro Cop high kick.  Hats off to Melvin Manhoef.  Maybe now he’ll get that fight with Kimbo Slice that he wants.

We pick the action up "in medias res," as they say in the classics, but you get the idea.  Sapp plays defense on the ground, putting all his weight on that poor cartoon character, then when they get up it’s trouble.  Note Kinnikuman trying to adjust his mask when Sapp really lays into him.  I don’t want to say that was his undoing, but damn, it sure didn’t help either.  It’s almost as if wearing a mask in an MMA fight is a really stupid idea.

So this didn’t turn out to be an epic battle?  Color me surprised.  I’m not sure if the kick to the pills made Choi decide he was ready to fake an injury and call it a night, but he sure got up fast for someone who had just crumpled to the mat in pain.

Can we all agree that Kimbo/Sapp is a guarantee for next NYE?

Having said that: the best show of the year. Great battles, great techniques, great KO's, great comedy and great entrances.

Sengoku will be good but Dynamite will be the better show.

Its funny that the japanese mob understands showbiz better than the Vegas mob.

Kuato, yeah I thought maybe it was just the weight cuttin also, then I looked back at photos of Overeem when he wasn't cuttin for a fight from last year......the guys arms are twice the size now, look at his face, look at his enormous head...it's either roids or HGH. Look at the size of his head from last year....your head doesn't get bigger no matter how much you lift unless your juicin my friend.

What in God's name has happened to Mark Hunt?!? It's like him and Cro Cop have been part of some sort of weapons test for the Ray of Mediocrity or something like that. He got Kimbo'd. Or should I say Seth'd. Whatever. Either way that was terrible compared to the Hunt of the past.

I'm not sure if he's on the juice or not, he did always have big muscles, plus he was cutting a ton of weight to make 205. Then again he looks like he has a puffier face, which is a side effect of roids. The only way to know if if he comes to the UFC, which I'm hoping he does.

I try not to read them but it's really hard when they're right there in front of you. Maybe "here are all the videos with results at the bottom".

I want to see sapp vs overeem in a roid rage bout. Overeem clearly wins but i imagine a back and forth fight where each fighter tries to rage harder then the opponent. Overeem is fuul of shit. I don't seehow its' natural. I thought before it might but i went and looked at pics from 1 year ago and it just isn't right.

That was a fun event, at least I enjoyed watching it. Not really sure what there is to complain about except the retarded Sap fight, but even that ended in a 1st round tko. Some of you seem afraid of feeling stupid if something is being faked, so you just preemptively accuse everything of being faked, lol.
