(Well, at least now they’ll have to make a new poster where Miesha’s name is spelled correctly. Image courtesy of FighterGirls.com.)
Friends and fans of Miesha Tate were in for a shock yesterday when this bulletin notice was sent out from Tate’s Myspace page:
Subject: Kim pulls out…..
Though Tate’s camp confirmed to PRO MMA that her May 15th Strikeforce Challengers bout against Couture had been scrapped, Miesha later took to Sherdog to back off her claim that Randy was headed for his third epic marriage fail:
There’s been no official statement from Strikeforce or the Coutures yet — but my God, with Randy preparing for Big Nog in August, he needs this shit like he needs a hole in the head.
Kim Couture (1-1) and Miesha Tate (6-1) were both slated to make their second appearance under the Strikeforce banner. Couture most recently beat the crap out of a woefully unprepared Lina Kvokov at "Strikeforce: Destruction" last November, while Tate has been on a five-fight win-streak since getting KO’d by Kaitlin Young in November 2007.

I’m sensing a little (not so) undercover racism. So what if she is black, latino, or not so hot in your eyes. he liked something about her enough to marry her. Now he sees something that makes him want to divorce her. 3 divorces kind of narrows down who is the problem in marriages. I love Randy for what he has done for the sport, but I (like most of you) know nothing of how he is in his personal life. For the record though. I don’t think Kim is such a bad looking woman, and that hairstyle is worn by lots of woman fighters. Who wants hair flopping into their eyes in a fight? Lastly, lots of times the women’s mma is more exciting than the men, because they have something to prove and the rounds are usually shorter.
