10 Struggling MMA Fighters That Will Bounce Back

Kimo Leopoldo Reportedly Dead of a Heart Attack at 41

This isn’t officially confirmed yet, but we thought we’d pass on the news that multiple sources are reporting this morning claiming that former UFC fighter Kimo Leopoldo has died from complications resulting from a heart attack.  Details at this point are still rather hazy, but if true this marks a sad end for the fighter with an often tumultuous life in and out of the cage.  He was 41 years old.

Leopoldo recently found himself in the news after an arrest for drug possession in southern California.  Before that he made a very public run for the Executive Officer position within the California State Athletic Commission, where he hoped to turn his past record for steroid use into an asset rather than a liability.  There’s no indication yet whether drugs might have played a role in his death.  More on this as it becomes available.

He's not a humorless doofus, he just asking that you try and show some class to person who hasn't been dead 24 hours. Is that too much to ask? Apparently so.

Kimo was a warrior and his fight with Royce is one of the reasons I've been a MMA fan for years. 41 is just way to early to pass on.

i just want to laff at the people who say all this stuff on the forum to try and be funny, but none of them would have said it if he was standing in front of them before he died. never been a fan of him except the cross carrying, that was original and classic...well original for a fighter. 41 is too young, but drugs and steroids play a factor for the shear fact that they hurt your heart..cant deny that. rest in the peace that you didnt have during your life

He obviously didn't pray enough. Or he worshipped a false god. Or maybe roids are really really bad for the human body. I just recently watched UFC 3 and UFC 16 again. Kimo was entertaining, no doubt. hope u lived life to the fullest. It sure seems u did.
