Though most UFC fans think of Jon Jones as a guy who tends to put his opponents through three rounds of body-slamming, reverse-elbowing hell, he actually finished most of his pre-Octagon fights in short order. Above is his 15-second knockout of Parker Porter at a WCF event in Massachusetts last June. Just another reason to keep your hands up around this guy.

Jon Jones is kind of scary/reckless in regards to his back elbows. I bet wen he faces a top10er, hes gonna let it all hang out on a back elbow and take a straight one to the face...not unlike uriah faber vs mike brown.

This guy is getting a ton of hype. He is in the most competitive division of the UFC though, so challenges are just going to keep coming his way. Can't wait to see what this cat can do if pressured by a jiu jitsu expert. Good luck Mr. Jones.

Bones Jones is from Rochester, reppin the 607. My best buddy at college had a 607 area code. He's the first fighter I know of that fights out of central New York. I would support him for that alone but combined with his exciting fighting style he has made himself one of my favorites. I think they call him Bones because he's really skinny for a LHW. It sounds dumb but I guess it fits. 6'4'' FTW BITCHES!

I think John Jones is going to be very entertaining to watch. He seems like he is pretty humble and won't let the hype get to his head. I hope he doesn't end up like that Houston Alexander or Brandon Vera.
