Most people spend so much time studying Muay Thai, Wrestling, and Jiu Jitsu. It’s great to see the unorthodox thrown in there to throw people off (Capoiera, Taekwondo, Karate).

Yeah, there’s nothing like a shin across the face or side of the head but there’s more than one way to skin a cat. He landed it solid with the bigger bones of the foot rather than just toes. Evidently, that’s enough to cause a rotational (torsional?) knockout. If that guy had had his chin tucked he prolly could’ve taken that shot but he didn’t so nighty night. He got punked by the Tai Kwon Do. I’m still waiting for the Dim Mak to make an appearance. Maybe next Christmas.

Similar to the summersault kicks we’ve seen from Ebersole and Zaromskis, which make the guy lower his hands because he thinks it’s a takedown attempt.
