One of the great urban legends of MMA comes from PRIDE Shockwave 2005, where Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett was supposedly jumped by six members of Chute Boxe in a locker room after the event. As Krazy Horse tells it, he knocked out Wanderlei Silva after he regained consciousness.
Finally, someone has come up with video evidence of the fracas, and it turns out Horse’s version of the story has some holes in it. The clip above shows Bennett doing the “jumping,” as he tackles Cristiano Marcello after some trash-talk from the Brazilian. Rather than gang-stomping Krazy Horse, the Chute Boxe team displays remarkable restraint in letting the pair settle their beef one-on-one, which eventually leads to Marcello choking Horse into unconsciousness. (Now that is just high-level locker room jiu-jitsu.)
As for that bit about Bennett knocking out the Axe Murderer? Well, apparently, that moment wasn’t captured on tape. But hey, we’ll take Krazy Horse’s word for it…

Krazy Horse was stopped for hitting CM and that was edited out......He had him twice, but the other members made him stop and let CM up.....It was 4 on 1.....

From what i could see in the horrible shot video was that it looked like Marcello was standing next to Horse talking to him, we can probably guess he was talking some trash. Horse was definately the agressor with the physical end of it though. He took Marcello down and start poundiong on him. It's so amazing that even in a street type brawl these MMA fighters are so conditioned with the knowledge they have been taught over the years that it still looked like something you would see in the ring. If someone put me in a tiangle choke in a street fight, first i would know i'm F-ed big time, but i think i would start biting, haha.

Fuck I just typed out two paragraphs explaining what I thought happened...and it wouldn't post because it contained two links...fuck me. Short version it obviously didn't happen how chute box said or it wouldn't be so edited....you'll notice that right before CH tackles Marcello he throws a punch, it's edited to try and show only CH tackling him but you'll see a glimpse of him throwing a punch, and I would guess that's not the first punch he threw or why edit the clip right there? Also CH was sitting not saying shit while Marcello was standing above him doing all he could to provoke CH. Heres CH's version of what happened, I'm done typing. No way it happened as chute box says or it wouldn't be so heavily edited. You'll also notice someone trying to spit on CH while he's laying there out cold....as disrespectful as it gets. Ninjay.....how was CH obviously the aggressor....I'm not understading this, it was edited to try and show him tackling Marcello but you'll catch a glimpse of CM throwing a punch just before crazy horse tackles him as I said no reason to edit the clip unless it didn't happen how the guys from chute box said it did. it looks edited but I think he went straight from the omoplata to the triangle if you watch the time in the upper right it doesn't jump like it does at the beginning of the fight where its missing about 20 seconds editing out that marcello threw the first punch. i don't for a second believe crazy horses lightweight ass knocked out wanderlei the fact that they never jumped in during the fight and even told marcello to let go and rolled crazy horse over to help him out discredits that whole story, having choked out a few people in my day i've found out they usually wake up and still think they're tough if he got his ass kicked again he deserved it.
