Lesnar/Carwin May Be Postponed Until January

Shane Carwin has updated his Twitter page with some info from his manager, and now it seems as if his heavyweight title bout with Brock Lesnar could take place on the UFC’s January 2 event. Carwin also seems to be under the impression that Lesnar is suffering from H1N1, also known as the Swine Flu, which Carwin has apparently had (and which he presumably beat the hell out of). I’ve spent all weekend telling myself that what I have is just the regular flu, so I find all this H1N1 talk a little discomforting, but as long as Lesnar doesn’t turn out to have the immune system of a ninety-pound pipsqueak he should pull through this thing and provide the UFC with a huge event to kick off 2010.

Now can we all just agree to stop talking about the Swine Flu and instead go shiver under a quilt while watching old episodes of "Law & Order" for the rest of the afternoon?

My 5 year old had H1N1 and was 100% in 3 days. If Lesnar does not fight for that its because he's been watching all 12 minutes and 36 seconds of Carwins 11 pro fights and decided he was not ready yet...aka got scared and shit his pants! If he got H1N1 a day or two or even a week before the fight maybe an excuse but this far out...he is running!

I dont want to start any rumors or anything, but its pretty disappointing Brock got swine flu from climbing on top and making sweet love to pigs on his farm, but thats what some people do. To each your own, i guess. Who am i to judge?

H1N1 doesn't take 3 weeks to run its course. It is basically the normal seasonal flu, but with a higher fever and spread much easier. As long as you're not too young, too old, or have some other underlying medical condition, the swine flu actually can be cured by chicken noodle soup, sleep, and the dulcet tones of Jack McCoy breaking fools on the witness stand like Ben is doing. He must have something else going on.

I think Lesnar went home and decided to get the SWINE FLU, that's right, THE SWINE FLU, because the REGULAR FLU wasn't MAKING HIM FEEL SHITTY ENOUGH, and hell, he may be thinking about giving it to his wife tonight.
