21 Humans Who Make Being Human Look Really, Really Hard

Look Who’s Learning The Kneebar

(Now maybe work on defending it. Just saying.)

Former WWE wrestler Brock Lesnar is getting wise to this jiu-jitsu stuff with help of seven-time world champion Rodrigo “Comprido” Medeiros. While the business end of the submissions is the part that Lesnar should really be worried about, it’s good to see that he’s getting help from someone who knows.

Lesnar’s taking on Heath Herring at UFC 87, and while “The Texas Crazyhorse” has a fair amount of submission victories under his belt, the last one was back in 2003. Herring might rather keep it standing in order to test out the angry four-year-old punching style that Lesnar displayed against Frank Mir.

In a recent interview with MMA Weekly, Herring had this to say about what he expected from Lesnar:

“From my own personal experience, guys that are that green and new, they kind of revert to that adrenaline rush and that’s what I’m anticipating he’s going to do as well. I think he’s going to be pretty wild and come out and do what we saw him do against Frank (Mir).”

Lesnar may be working out with “Comprido”, but Herring says he’s been training with Randy Couture. At least both guys will be well-prepared. One has to wonder though, what becomes of Lesnar if Herring puts a second straight loss on his record?

@hippycandien Actually Brock Lesnar did break his neck while professionally wrestling. It was against Kurt Angle and he actually talks about it on a youtube video.
Just google video his name and watch a couple of the vids im sure itll be in one of them. its one of the promo skits for ufc i think.

I realy think that Lesnar will win, after the embarrassing display in the first match I am sure that he will be training very hard to ot fall victim again. His punches were like a 4 year old lol, they probobly are hard just because of the weight of his arm but still if he had some technique it would be better. Lesnar is a great wrestler, I am sure he will take it down immediately, go straight to mount and this time hopefully he will be able to control and finish it

@gracies suck ass

lesnar never broke his neck dumbass, he just got a concussion from that crazy flip he did.

For Heath to win he'll have to tough out the first minute or so.... Brock will come in aggressive. Kimbo sucks balls. Brock would and should... kill Kimbo.

I both love this fight and hate it at the same time.
Because I despise both of these losers, I love that 1 one these losers are gonna do what they do best... LOSE!
but I'm also sad, cause both of em can't lose.
The perfect scenario is it becomes a dull ass dragged out boring tie, the audience boos the fuck out of em for 15 minutes. They cuss Dana White during the whole match, then when its announced a draw, both men get pissed off knock the ref down and start fighting again, to where security has to go in and separate them, and later in the dressing rooms Dana White has to go in there and fire both their sorry asses. :) awwwwww that would be sweet.
Get rid of 2 trash bags in one swoop.
gracies suck ass- June 24, 2008 at 7:24 pm
dunno man lesnar broke his neck savagely in wwe not like getting punched in the face, but if you can take a broken spine you can prolly take a stiff jab so I ain't gonna question his chin, of course if herring decides to boot him in the head he'll go down but y'know, who wouldn't? he doesn't windmill that bad either, mir was pretty fucked and was getting beat till he caught that leg out in the open. I still wonder if he could've actually pulled out a armbar or choke on lesnar since he's so gigantic...with all that being said, I really wanna see this fight, always thought heath ruled, and lesnar is a good prospect I expect a barn burner :P hahahahha if heath can sprawl out the takedowns, then I'd have to agree with boneman, except I'd say it ends in the 3rd, lesnar is gonna have to be dragged into deep water(get his cardio working overtime to feed oxygen to his immense form) imo to get KO/TKO'd which is really what heath does best.
Boneman- June 24, 2008 at 6:34 pm
Whoever has a "Gameplan" and commits to it, will win this one. Heath doesn't have the best take-down defense, but he is very good in the roll & escape mode. But it will be difficult to move someone the size of Lesnar off of him.

Lesner does have chicken legs and Heath not only strikes well with his hands, but can kick like a mule. Don't be suprised when Herring tenderizes Lesners Pogo-Sticks in the 1st round.

We know Heath has a good chin and can keep fighting even when dazed....Has Lesnar ever had to fight when his bell has been rung?...I know Mir never popped him in the face. 'm interested to see where his gameplan go's after the first big punch lands on his jaw....I think the "4-year old puching style" will start wind-milling as soon as Heath lands the first big punch.

After all is said...If Heath learns to Sprawl, Sprawl, Sprawl....Lesnar goes down in the 2nd round.

thanks VRAX and SHITWHISTLE what I meant was that at least they have given Brock some real fights whereas Kimbo it seems that they are padding his record. UFC does not look as if they are holding anyones hand, either put up or get out is the new UFC motto

I predicted Mir to win by submission and that is just what he did. I think that only BJJ guys are going to be able to beat Lesnar untill he improves his game. It will take longer than a year to learn all of the aspects but if he knew BJJ then he would dominate. Lets not forget that the UFC has a joke of a heavyweight division. Its gonna take a while to rebuild but I see Lesnar with the championship soon. You think that brute strength has nothing to do with fighting but that is a common mistake. Ask anyone who has fought someone with retard power and they will tell you. I tried every jits submission on a Brock like foe only to be twisted like a pretzel by a guy that had no fight expeiance at all. Strength can prevail mark my words.
Ps his legs look small because his body is just freakishly huge.

Heath done gonna get fucked up- June 24, 2008 at 5:09 pm
read it here first, brock by GnP, heath has no take down defense, fucking Kongo took him down wtf.
Smackdaddiest1- June 24, 2008 at 5:01 pm
Yea agree completely....as opposed to Slice, Lesnar will be a handful on the ground, Kimbo's ground game is shit, as evidenced by James Thompson. Lesnar should have beaten Mir, he had him beaten until he got caught in the heel lock. That being said, its what mma is all about, not how u start, but how u finish.
KG- June 24, 2008 at 4:59 pm
Anyone also notice Brocks skinny ass legs? It doesnt even look like he works them out... I guess he works his upper body only
KG- June 24, 2008 at 4:57 pm
Brock by decision via JTMoney-Jitsu.. ie.. lay n' pray
loves a good fight- June 24, 2008 at 4:51 pm
come on.... even those angry 4 year old punches can connect, ask Mir. Really though, the guy is a freaking monster, just like Kimbo... but even big boys need something in their bag of tricks besides size alone... remember Tank Abbott? Brawlers and wrestlers are getting to the point where they shouldn't even bother if that's all they have. At least he is training. These days, if you are a single style fighter, you are just not going to get very far.
Myles Kilometers- June 24, 2008 at 4:50 pm
I actually think Lesnar will beat Herring. Look at what Jake O'Brien did...Brock's an as good if not better wrestler.

Prediction: He'll lay and pray himself to a boring unanimous decision victory.

If Lesnar loses...cocksword chest model? I'd hire him.
shitwhistle- June 24, 2008 at 4:45 pm
You're right, Vrax. He's an accomplished wrestler, I know - but as you semi said, this isn't a wrestling match. Kimbo maintains that he has a stellar street fight record, but these aren't street fights. I wasn't comparing Lesnar and Kimbo per say, I was comparing their positions in their respective organizations. Kimbo is the poor man's Lesnar, much like EliteXC is the poor man's UFC. Make sense?

I do believe Lesnar stands a better chance at being a true MMA fighter - chest penis and all.
Vrax- June 24, 2008 at 4:27 pm
@shitwhistle: People might be referring to Lesnar's amazing 106-5 NCAA div. 1 record. His wrestling is great. That said, I agree with you since MMA is absolutely not just wrestling. Anyone who thinks it is should ask Matt Hughes how that's worked out for him recently.
shitwhistle- June 24, 2008 at 4:22 pm
Plus, he's got a tallywacker on his chest...
shitwhistle- June 24, 2008 at 4:20 pm
Aaron, my friend, the chilly chills and lack of women in Alaska must be getting to you...

http://www.sherdog.com/fightfinder/fightfinder.asp?FighterID=17522

Tested how? 2 fights and one win over a less than mediocre competitor? I think not.
Jeff- June 24, 2008 at 4:13 pm
Happy learned how to putt... UH-OH!
Aaron from alaska- June 24, 2008 at 3:55 pm
Lesner is no Kimbo Slice, Lesner actually can fight and unlike Kimbo has been tested, now don't get me wrong I like Kimbo (Mostly because he is being backed by Bas) but he has not been tested and I think Roger can take him, back to Lesner he has proven that he is in it for the right reasons and I really can't stand Heath "the crybaby" Herring and hope Brock snaps him in two
shitwhistle- June 24, 2008 at 3:52 pm
Brock Lesnar is the UFC's Kimbo Slice
Vrax- June 24, 2008 at 3:45 pm
It's all a set up. Brock goes out, takes a big right and stays down. Lesnar proves to be utter crap at fighting. Dana extends an olive branch to Gray Shaw offering a cross promotional fight to everyone's benefit. His proposal? Lesnar v. Slice.

'Cock Chest Wars' will air on CBS live and Lesnar will win easily by ground and pound. Typical pool-shark type set up.
