Before UFC color-man Joe Rogan became a disciple of Eddie Bravo and 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu, he was a diehard Tae Kwon Do practitioner who won several championships as a black belt. He obviously keeps up with his training, because the dude can still throw a mean turning side kick (known as the "spinning back kick" to you laymen). Of course, this video raises more questions than it answers. For instance, will we eventually see a full series of instructional DVDs from the analyst/comedian? How long would Gus Johnson last in a cage-fight against Joe? What happened to the lizard?

I wouldn't mind seeing more of Joe and these instructional videos. He definitely gets a lot of power out of those kicks.
With all the jokes and weed tokage I seem to have forgotten Joe Rogan is/was actually a skilled martial artist.
That lizard appeared to be a bearded dragon, which would have to be an escaped pet... unless the vid was shot in Australia.
If you mean an SFII-style tornado kick, I think Nick Diaz tried it once against Gomi, but said he was countered with "some little hadouken fuckin' punch, that busted my shit up." I had always thought the tornado kick simply went over a hadouken, but I guess not. So I don't know how well the tornado kick translates to MMA.
