(Via Rampage Jackson’s Twitter, with the message: "A gift from the UFC. Wanna make a black man happy? Get him a ride!!")
Here’s a question for you, Potato Nation. Say you’re Dana White and you’ve got yourself yet another problem with "Rampage" Jackson. Seems he’s running his mouth about how he’s done with the UFC, was never really all that into MMA to begin with, and just wants to finish his contract so he can forget this noise and go be the biggest movie star since Jim Varney. What do you do to talk him down off the ledge and get him to play nice again?
As those of you who have been following MMA for any length of time already know, DW knows only one foolproof way to make his fighters happy and it’s, Buy the dude a car. Why? Because people love cars that they didn’t pay for. And judging by Jackson’s response — which would fall into the realm of harmful stereotype if we said it, but sounds perfectly reasonable when ‘Page says it — it totally worked.
Who says you can’t fix every interpersonal problem with material goods? Something tells me Dana White is one hell of a father.

What a waste.
Also, consider the source material: Quentin Jackson, a man who will never be accused of being the sharpest knife in the drawer, said some dumb shit. That's no more suprising than his use of the word muhfuh all the time.
In counterpoint, we have Dana White. Now here's a man who's obviously an excellent (ruthless) business man, but one who has some difficulty communicating in an adult manner. Although he normally sounds like a fifteen-year old trying to emulate his idea of what a marine sounds like, we can't knock his instinct for business. Which is to say, DW always wins.
and this car is tight as can be!
A loss will practically ruin him in the UFC, although DW will keep him around for a while yet since it's DW's policy to keep guys around for their draw power even if they're not winning shit anymore. Stephan Bonnar is a great example of this. Along with Tito and Crocop. The list goes on for that one.
Now that is a serious downgrade from the Audi R8...
lol... unreal.
Hate speech? What? I am all for open mindedness and non-prejudice and no discrimination, but you have to realize your inaccuracies in your comment. If he is black and he makes a statement that is a stereotype which conveys a general prejudice thought about black people, he is dumb for doing it. Moreover, race is a social construct; therefore, it is a false concept that society invented and holds true when it is in fact erroneous. Additionally, there is a major difference between gender and sex. In the context of your sentence with 'gender', it should be 'sex'. Gender has to do with the specific role and expectations of sexes. And if it were illegal say things like that, it would totally contradict the advocacy of free speech and more importantly, OPEN MINDEDNESS. Likewise, it would infringe upon our existence as individuals to be hassled by the government. You should be appalled at yourself.
Your monologue better be a sarcastic one, otherwise you should invest numerous hours per day delving into education and intellect
What I just can't fathom is this intolerable racism that is allowed to go on. I mean the kind of hate speech that Rampage spewed out is just unacceptable. For him to say such ignorant and plainly racist things is just, well it's racist. And wrong. It is wrong to try to reduce a whole race into a cliche. As if to say that just because of your race and/or gender that you would enjoy getting a free car! Ridiculous, racist, and I think even a bit sexist! I can't believe we let people like that continue to live in what is supposed to be an open minded and tolerant society. Isn't it illegal to say such things? If not it should be. I for one, am appalled.
and its not a classic muscle car, its a remake of a classic muscle car...there is a difference..know what i mean verne?
Amen. I like the double period! It's like "your not American, period" then with the extra period to be grammatically correct. But then you didn't capitalize the first word in the sentence, properly conjugate "you're" or capitalize "American". That's the kind of inconsistency that makes us so fearsome to our enemies.
