Steroids in MMA
Which MMA Fighter Will Test Positive For Steroids Next?

“Mayhem” Miller’s Entrance Went a Little Better in Rehearsal

You can always count on "Mayhem" Miller to provide a healthy amount of flair with his entrances, but at last night’s Strikeforce event there was a little miscommunication that almost caused him to get backfisted in the face by one of his own dancers.  Things went more smoothly in the rehearsal, as you can see, but, like James Hetfield once learned the hard way, things get real in a hurry when the pyrotechnics start popping off.  Miller was obviously disappointed with the fight, and though he came within a few seconds of submitting Jake Shields he apologized to his fans on Twitter, saying he "didn’t train hard enough, wasn’t prepared to grapple that much."

Dammit Mayhem, you got nothing to be sorry for.  You fought hard against a tough opponent.  It’s just too bad you didn’t get to show off your chosen discipline of "slap boxing" a little more.  Those of you who still haven’t seen the fight can check it out here.

Now I see why Mayhem was almost KO'd during his entrance - he didn't stick to the game plan.

James Hetfield is the Fedor of the music world

That Jake Shields guy is talentttttttttttteeeeeeeeedddddddddddd. I mean forget putting your opponent to sleep, that fucker can send the entire damn audience to sleep.

Fuck Derren Brown - this guy can do it on reruns and recorded versions too.

Wrestlers really are the armpit of this sport - develop some real Ju Jitsu or some striking you 1 dimensional tarts.

Thank you jfjjfjff, finally someone appreciates my greateness.
TrouserSnout, you should be more respectful to people with first comments, you little prick.

this entrance was sweet, fuck everyone who says otherwise

it's good that mayhem doesn't take himself too seriously and is willing to have some fun on the job

I think Mayhem spent too much wind on the dance routine/intro/self promotion. Maybe if he walked out like a proper gentleman, he'd have had some gas left in rnds 4 and 5. Decent effort nonetheless.

Shut the hell up TrouserSnout and keep your gay comments to yourself. Also, the only one getting ass raped by a donkey is your mom. And that donkey must have been your dad, nice family you got, asshole.

I was hardcore rooting for Mayhem. I've been fan since way before the so called "television program" known as 'Bully Beatdown.'

This is why I hate the lay-and-pray fighters like Jake. He caused absolutely NO damage to Mayhem while on top, and Mayhem reversed EVERY submission attempt and the majority of position advances.

Mayhem looked like the better fighter to me, and it seems as though the crowd agrees. If Mayhem has better wrestling, that fight would have ended differently.

halarious entrance, that dancer should be killed
Acrocerid- November 8, 2009 at 12:38 pm
I was impressed that Mayhem dodged the haymaker from the dancer. I thought for sure he would win after that.

miller should of won. each reversal and scramble earns a point for every boring takedown shields grabbed.. shields won the wrestling match tho.

That shit looked forced and lame during the event... plays well in Japan, not so much here unless you're a 15 year old.

I'm not a fan of the music, but it was still a far superior entrace to Sheilds uneventful walk to the cage. Boring.

Oh, for another 10 seconds in round 3. Could have been a good night for the ADD poster child. Bad luck Mayhem.
