MMA Fail of the Year Candidate: Dude Knocks Self Out While Attempting Flying Kick

This video comes to us from Empire Fight League 4 in Montreal on Saturday, in which a back-and-forth amateur scrap between Jeremie Capony and Dan Lariviere ended suddenly — and ridiculously — in the second round. Watch as Lariviere attempts the kind of flying switch-kick that would have made him a viral Internet superstar if it connected. Oh, if only. Capony sees it coming and slides out of the way, leaving Lariviere to drop to the mat and land on his arm and shoulder, which somehow knocks him out. Either that, or chi knockouts are real, and this is the no-touch-KO equivalent of Fedor vs. Arlovski. How embarrassing to knock your own ass out in a bout. I still laughed hard. Made me remember the time I flopped down on a plastic chair, it tipped backwards and a concrete decoration around the tree it was under knocked me cold for about 3 minutes. hee hee... Don't remember even sitting in the chair. I hope this poor guy lives this blunder down.

I'm not a fan of Arianny (check any of my posts for proof) but its still mma news (well, not really) and probably will bring traffic to the site. Plus, if everyone in Murica doesn't see her flat ass cheeks and fake cans without her permission, then the terrorists have in fact won.

It is an impossibility to knock yourself out by landing on ur fucking shoulder. This is some weird fix goin on here.Like in Midnight Sting (Diggstown) maybe they had his brother kidnapped but in reverse. They needed him to lose. Now his brother is gonna be strung up coz he couldnt throw a fight without drawing attention to himself.
