It wasn’t shown on Saturday night’s pay-per-view broadcast, but Jason MacDonald‘s return to the Octagon at UFC 113 didn’t exactly go as planned. Midway through the first round of their prelim fight, John Salter scored a takedown against MacDonald, whose left leg snapped underneath him in horrifying, Joe Theismann-esque fashion. The result? A broken tibia and fibula, and a dislocated ankle. Get well soon, Jason. "The Athlete"’s overall UFC record dropped to 5-6 following the TKO loss via injury, while Salter picked up his first UFC win. And as you can see, he was pretty damn pleased with himself.
MacDonald wasn’t the only fighter who left Montreal busted up. Patrick Cote broke his right hand in his losing effort against Alan Belcher — a terribly unfortunate outcome for a guy who was already coming back from a year-and-a-half of injury inactivity.

You bunch of queers wish you could win a fight in the ufc.John didnt know the guys leg was broke. He was excited for the win plain and simple.
Salter, is that you? Looks like you spent more time practicing your Chuck Liddel celebration, than you did blocking head kicks.
You're going to get squashed next bout, since we seen you get KO'd in your last fight.

The comment on Shane Carwin training by doing calculus made me laugh.
Props to McDonald, it takes a tough bastard to casually point out to the ref that your leg is obliterated.
I don't think you should ever get repaired to be the same as you were when you were broken. Case in point, Jason MacDonald should get a titanium computer controlled leg in place of his feeble human original leg. It could have interchangeable 'feet' that could be changed similar to shoes. I, for one, would encourage him to get one with tank treads...
