Today’s GIF party features a couple of animated highlights from the TUF 12 Finale‘s unaired prelims, as well as the Spike broadcast. First up, the night’s only knockout — Pablo Garza’s flying-knee-KO of Fredson Paixao, which came just 51 seconds into round one and scored Garza a $30,000 Knockout of the Night bonus. As if the KO wasn’t impressive enough, check out Steve Mazzagatti flying in from 15 feet away to tackle Garza before he makes Paixao’s concussion any worse than it needs to be.
After the jump: The "Pace choke," the McKenzitine, and the stunned expessions following Phan vs. Garcia.

Of the two submissions on the undercard, Nick Pace’s third round triangle/guillotine/WTF? submission of Will Campuzano was the more creative by far. Unfortunately, Pace missed his bantamweight limit by three pounds, and no additional bonus money was given to him out of spite. Instead, the $30,000 Submission of the Night bump went to Cody McKenzie, who represented the redneck-hillbilly-ex-gangster-ex-drug-addict MMA scene in impressive fashion, at the expense of Aaron Wilkinson’s jaw.

And finally, the bit of physical comedy that ensued after Leonard Garcia was announced the winner of his fight against Nam Phan. Greg Jackson can’t even hide his shock, while Rogan and Garcia trade "whaddya gonna do?" shrugs. Meanwhile, Phan wanders around the cage like an M-80 just went off in his hand. Both Garcia and Phan picked up $30,000 Fight of the Night bonuses for their performances.
And after all that, we still haven’t mentioned three fights that also took place on the TUF 12 Finale prelims. They were:
– Dave Branch def. Rich Attonito via unanimous decision (30-27 x 3)
– Kyle Watson def. Sako Chivitchian via unanimous decision (30-27 x 2, 29-28)
– Ian Loveland def. Tyler Toner via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-26, 29-28)

comments'cause I though that was illegal.
Though they are separate issues, I do my thinking emotionally, and using the word faggot is a monster-truck-sized blow to those pussy liberal things making me look ignant.
I've been digging the epic Mazzi dive since I first saw it. Leaving that flying knee and that dive off the broadcast? Criminal.
The Pace choke is slick.
You use your leg to cut off the artery on one side and use your own arm for the other side. your arms never go around the front of the throat like a guillotine but instead you use your far side arm (since it replicates the angle that their arm would be in if it was a traditional triangle choke) to squeeze off the artery on the otherside. This is for when people try the double underhook pass and dont leave 1 of their arms in thus making a traditional triangle choke impossible.
and as far as the "mckenzie-tine" just look up "prayer choke" its the same thing, and the reason its not a crank is that the whole purpose of getting the neck all the way into the crook of your arm is so you can "scissor" both sides of their neck and cut off both arteries at once. that is why people go out so fast in it. The one above is not a perfect example of it, its a bit "expediated" due to the fast paced nature of mma.
BTW, the Mackenzitine is part crank, part choke and I propose that it shall henceforth be known as a Mackenzitine croke.
@ Rex - It looks like that Pace choke is also a little similar to a reverse Peruvian Necktie that CB Dollaway likes to pull off, except this one from the bottom. Although, Tomas Rios thinks we are all idiots, since it is obviously a question mark kick.
I liked Joe's on-air rant, the McKenzitine and....that was about it.
