Yesterday, we posted a GIF of Jon Jones slugging the shit out of an escort during his cage-entrance at Sunday’s UFC on Versus show. Turns out it was a rough night for the security staff overall. As caposa points out, two more non-combatants got assaulted during Brandon Vera‘s entrance, this time by fans. Poor guys. They should get safety goggles. And headgear. And tazers to shock the shit out of those drunk D-bags.
It would look bad ass if the security came out in riot gear with the fighters. Doing that would probably enrage the drunk fans and actually cause riots though.
The second douchebag totally looks into the camera and smiles because he knows he’s gonna be rewound, screen capped and gifed by the next day.
How many copycats this weekend you figure?
If I was UFC, since widening the walk area and losing a few seats is out of the question, I’d have a second security team trailing the first security team watching for someone to pull some shit and then throw them the fuck out on their asses.
I’d also enjoy seeing animated gifs the next day of fratboy douchebags landing on their asses.

the security at these events should just start wearing umpire masks. but then you’d still probably have some ass hole who figured out you could still stick them through the mask using one of those big styrofoam fingers.I’m tempted to go to one of these events wearing boxing gloves and just blast one of these guys in the face to see if I could get a reaction.
The walk-way needs to be wider…to keep the security guys out of reach of the fans and the fighters. Of course, when you consider Bones’ reach, there may be no safe distance…
Those goons were clearly hired by Vera to try to get to Bones before the fight… touche’ Mr. Vera. You are a worthy opponent.

Is there a follow up to these gif’s? Kinda like how the people who stole the hats off Couture and some other fighters during their walk down to the cage actually didn’t get away with stealing the hats. I would love to hear a story about how the guy on the right was later dragged out of the coliseum and received a baton to the teeth.
