UFC middleweight star Michael Bisping is currently in Austin, Texas, working on his first feature film, an action flick called Beat Down. MovieSet.com gives us the synopsis:
What, you were expecting a period piece about the turbulent first years of Queen Victoria’s rule and her enduring romance with Prince Albert? Beat Down stars Rudy Youngblood in the lead role, as well as legendary bad-ass Danny Trejo, Eric Balfour, and Heath Herring. And of course, Bisping and Bobby Lashley have supporting roles that include at least one fight scene. (Spoiler alert: Bisping wins.) Check out the latest installment of the Count’s video-blog above, which shows the two fighters going over their spots, a lineup of chicks in white t-shirts getting water dumped all over their chests, and Bisping reacting to the news of his homeboy Cheick Kongo‘s loss.

OK, I realize that MMA is catching on... becoming mainstream.... soon to be the biggest sport in the world... yada, yada, yeah whatever. It's cool. But please... ENOUGH WITH THE FUCKING MMA-THEMED MOVIES! Sure Hollywood wants to cash in on this ultimate fighter thing, but give us all a big break please. Who wants to see yet another movie starring a bunch of fighters who aren't actors, supported by one or two d-list real actors? Not this fan. I'd rather watch real fighting without scripts and weak ass plots.

yeah, they r struggling for sports themed movies.. hence the movie "blindside" and "invictus" but please.... LEAVE THAT SHIT FOR JET LI AND JACKIE CHAN!!! im still gonna watch the new karate kid that comes out next year.. but this shit is gettin ridiculous! like DW said "fighters wanna be actors, and actors wanna be fuckin fighters!" stick to commercials guys.. unless your bob sapp, he's the exception to this rule

I gave up when I reached the first comma in the synopsis. So whats the difference between this and Cool as ice? Other than this one has more silly British accents and less Vanilla Ice. I'm not going to a fucking MMA movie until Spencer Pratt does it right!
