This was Brock’s first fight. Do you think they would put him in with the champ on his first fight? WWE or not, he was a collegiate champion wrestler, which means he has a good grappling game. It would seem to me that if Brock has the ability to learn quickly (striking, jiu jitsu, etc), he could become an excellent MMA fighter. Brock is apparently a competitor, which is why he left the WWE; that was showmanship, not competition. I’m not taking away anything from Mir. It appears he’s gotten his edge back after his motorcycle accident, so I think he is a pretty dangerous guy. Again, I hope it’s a great fight, regardless who wins.
