Steroids in MMA
Which MMA Fighter Will Test Positive For Steroids Next?

Morning Beatdown: When Brock Met Min

Yeah, you’re probably sick of this one by now. But we thought we’d run it One! More! Time! as we enter the home stretch to Lesnar’s UFC debut tomorrow against Frank Mir. Lesnar’s opponent at K-1 Dynamite USA (6/2/07) was an overfed can whose most notable fights were losses against Bob Sapp and Don Frye. And what did we learn? Brock has no time for the customary pre-fight fist-bump. Yes, that’s ex-WWE superstar Bill Goldberg freaking the fuck out when his homeboy scores his first MMA win.

And sure, why not — here’s the video of Frank Mir breaking Tim Sylvia‘s arm.

This is to (Stewie Says) Clearly posted by a couch patatoe, non physical sort of dude. You are one of the many people unexperenced in compititon and steroids. (((U CAN TELL))). I have been a competive weightlifter for over 20 years. Never done the juice, but know plenty who do. Its like a person who has never played golf, waterskied, hade sex, ect, ect. I bet you belived the bullshit that brittney spears was a virgin. I agree with everything you posted except the "never been on steroids" bullshit.

i wanna see kimbo vs brock. that would be an interesting fight to see"

I wanna see Kimbo vs any of the heavyweights in the UFC. Kimbo aint shit but a striker. That might get him far fighting backyard fights and fights against washed up boxers but that shit wouldn't last in the ring with an experienced professional like Nogueira, Couture, Gonzaga, Silvia, or Cro Cop.

As for Brock fighting Frank Mir... Frank Mir is far from washed up. That guy is still young. He's got a good amount of fights under his belt so his experience is good. Anyway, its funny how all you clowns sit there and bash Brock Lesnar for being is big as he is, claiming that he took steroids to get there. Lesnar finished his amateur career as a two-time NJCAA All-American, two-time NCAA All-American, two-time Big Ten Champion, and the 2000 NCAA heavyweight champion with a record of 106-5 overall in four years of college. He's been a big guy all his life. I'm sure he couldn't have made it through college taking steroids and not have gotten caught. Don't hate cause your pathetic ass is to lazy to get into a gym.

If brock lasts long enuff, the real proof will be when he gets his big ass knocked the fuck out in a stand up fight. He will get sick of being submitted and think he can ovepower people on his feet. He will realize this as a bad decision when he is asking everone what the fuck happend, did i win.
wow- February 6, 2008 at 5:11 am
brock lesnar yes, he is strong.
steriods do a body good. he fought a former ufc champ, that got hit by a car, and lost. you ask me i say frank mir is washed up. If he fights anybody decent he wont have a chance in the UFC,
too bad my man couture had to leave because they wouldent give him fedor
junkyjje- February 5, 2008 at 2:17 am
Wow, you realy think that a guy getting paid by the ufc is saying good shit about someone the ufc is trying to promote is real. If Mir said Brock was eaisyer to submit than a ten year old girl, it would be hard to try and sell him again. What was he supposed to say " Brock was a big pussy who just went for the takedown with no real defence of his own, and got handed his huge sorry ass a loss. Thats right 0 and 1 in the ufc babey, what a talent."
MMA Ninja- February 4, 2008 at 10:51 pm
wow, guys, go listen to Frank Mir's interview by Mr. Sunshine, Mir himself admitted to getting pounded and that he thinks Lesnar has a good future in UFC and MMA.

He's got more elite college wrestling exprience that most in MMA, he'll be around for a while

Hey Wes,

Not everybody can ride on the "Sportsman Ship" like you. dumbass

This is directed to all those people who thought brute strength can beat great technique(mostly wrestlers). The match between Broc Lesnar and Frank Mir was an example of why wrestlers can't hang with jiu-jitsu experts. Just because you pin a man on his back doesn't mean the match is over in MMA(unlike wrestling). Jiu-jitsu experts are very comfortable on their back. Try to use just your upper body strength to win doesn't work either. Frank Mir showed what happens when a big stupid oaf leaves his lower body opened. They get FUCKIN' OWNED! Welcome to the UFC Broc Lesnar. Your ass should of stuck to the fake shit!

i got one thing to say LESNAR V. KIMBO
Ilpalla- February 2, 2008 at 9:41 pm
TheDude, haha fag obviously you were wrong, you shit lick, WWE fans are faggots that dont know what real fighting is, if you didnt think Mir was going to win, you never watched any MMA before, haha, leave MMA, fruit, and let the big kids stay in charge
The other me- February 2, 2008 at 8:38 pm
bill... it is apparent that you have no clue what you were watching nor what you are talking about... this is not WWF. Maybe he should bring in a folding chair in his next fight.
bill- February 2, 2008 at 7:09 pm
man lesner manhandles mir it the following fight mir was luck to catch his leg cause he was gunna be mush if he would of went any longer
junkyjje- February 2, 2008 at 1:10 pm
Brock didnt even last 1 round, Ha,Ha,Ha. I dont think that "everone" hates brock. Everone hates fans who post stupid stuff like " Brock is the best heavy weight ever and will dominate everones ass". Its the people who are wwe fans of brock and talk a whole lode of shit that get people hateing on brock. I get exicited about Fedor. Fedor is the best heavy weight that ever lived. I will say that Fedor is the shit because I can back up my opinion with facts. You dont have to agree with me, but unless you are stupid you have to respect my opinion.
IFMDamon- February 2, 2008 at 6:21 am
I called it down to the second a few days ago. I was hoping I got some WWE fanatics responding with some profanities when I made the prediction a few days ago, so I can say in your face. But whateva, no one disagreed. Who knew this wasn't going to happen? Frank was always pretty agile for his size and has always had some solid submissions as washed out he is.
The other me- February 2, 2008 at 5:14 am
he tapped... I thought he almost started to cry!!!
Beck- February 2, 2008 at 4:43 am
Well, there we have it. Props to Frank Mir. Brock hurt him, but Frank has been doing this a long time. I would love to see Brock fight again...he can only get better. I hope Frank stays focused, because when he is on, he is deadly.
TEST- February 2, 2008 at 1:37 am
Have he lost weight? He was 300 pounds in wwe. He looks smaller now.
The other me- February 1, 2008 at 8:19 pm
TheDude Says - you think Brock is unpolished then you definitely don’t know shit

He is not fighting Min's brother you dolt. He is unpolished... he doesnt even know how to ball up his fist properly or hold up his guard hand, just look on the cover of M&F. He was a great wrestler and a strong guy but thats were it will stop for him tonight. He should have fought some newbies before taking on Mir, but like he said "you cant take the country out of the boy".

Hey dude, go back and watch WWE or F or whatever that fake sh$t is called and give us a break.
Beck- February 1, 2008 at 8:09 pm
This was Brock's first fight. Do you think they would put him in with the champ on his first fight? WWE or not, he was a collegiate champion wrestler, which means he has a good grappling game. It would seem to me that if Brock has the ability to learn quickly (striking, jiu jitsu, etc), he could become an excellent MMA fighter. Brock is apparently a competitor, which is why he left the WWE; that was showmanship, not competition. I'm not taking away anything from Mir. It appears he's gotten his edge back after his motorcycle accident, so I think he is a pretty dangerous guy. Again, I hope it's a great fight, regardless who wins.

"Perhaps the most outstanding example of the idea that a superman in wrestling simply can't walk through MMA competition came in 2004. Karam Gaber Ibrahim of Egypt was the dominant wrestler of that year's Olympics."

anyone like "btk" who says shit like "go fucking kill yourself " is clearly a pitiful looser. Hey "btk" did you check to see if your mom was in the room so you could use naughty words. I bet the next thing this pro wrasteling fan hears is "honey come eat your lunch like a big boy, thats my little man, now you can watch wwe on tv"
