Haha - I work for the company that made the implant for Quarry's back (his lower back surgery/fusion) - NuVasive.

Nate comes to some of the company events and is a super nice guy - a great human being with 100% class. It was nice to see that he didn't stoop to Starnes level and trade insults - there was no reason to.

We got to get pictures with him posing with the arm-through the block pose - classic.

Also, Starnes profile was taken off the UFC website the day after the fight... 'nuff said.

normally i hate all the stupid antics in the ring/octagon. but this fight was frustrating, and quarry saved it by the running man, and whatever the hell you call the cover and swing.

but i'm offended that starnes would flip a guy off in the ring. if you're pissed, THROW A FUCKING PUNCH! you dont say "fuck you", you hit the guy in the face... but he's such a pussy, he just shot him the bird. who the hell does that?

on mmaplayground.com I predicted this fight to be Nate Quarry with a unanimous decision, and I doubt it can get more unanimous than that.
One judge even gave Starnes 24 points, I don't think I've seen that before. Hilarious/awesome ending to a boring fight.

Quarry is a funny fucker. If it wasn't for his antics in the last minute then that would have been one of the shittest fights ever... but now its one of the best.

I think Starnes should call TKO or AFL.

Yeah this was some funny crapo. I missed that where Starnes was talking "why aren't you fighting %*$&?" That fan probly would have put on a better show at least try to fight rofl. Who knows maybe he had a panic attack for the entire fight and though Quarry was the boogie man coming for him.
