We’re less than two months away from the premiere of The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights, and it’s hard not to get excited about the first brief shots of Kimbo Slice walking out to the TUF cage and pacing around before a fight, with Rampage Jackson possibly in his corner (see the -00:09 mark). Plus, the fact that Jackson and Rashad Evans will hate each other’s guts from day one could bring back some of the Tito vs. Ken magic of season 3. So far, everybody involved is playing it very close to the vest in regards to how the fights played out this season. But the interview after the jump may suggest that Slice shook off the haters and did, at the very least, aight.
In this MMA Fanhouse interview, Roy Nelson tells Ariel Helwani that "I learned a lot from [Kimbo]…I think he’ll be in the business for a very long time to come," which is generally not what you say about someone who gets punked in his first-round match on the show. (It should be said that some of the former pro-footballers and other newbie fighters that will be bunking up on TUF 10 are even less experienced than Slice is, and Kimbo may not be the underdog that some are making him out to be.) Nelson also discusses Florida’s hatred for him, questionable MMA reffing, and ends the chat with a trademark belly-rub.

I sat outside the TUF gym and Kimbo is on Team Rampage, Big Country is on Team Evans and on the last day of filming, which was the last fight, which was on a Thursday, Kimbo was not one of the 2 fighting. Opps, did I just give to much away?

They only do one fight an episode. The last day isn't the TUF finals, they only go as far as semi-finals and the finals are on spike. So, Kimbo could have qualified for the finals a fight/episode before then. "hope I didn't ruin it for you".

The funniest moment ever on TUF when Rampage looks in the camera and says " I'm from the south, I'm my memphis, I have had a alotta shit happen to me but being netted like a fish wasn't one of em....damn that's embarrassing a black man getting netted..my momma's gonna see that!" Would you also like the address of the training facility and the times they practice and fight? Not trying to ruin it, but you're the same guys that trashed Kimbo when he came on the scene. There is ALWAYS minimum of TWO fighters still in the tournament at the end of the show, regardless of whether the show features 1 or 2 weightclasses. You need TWO fighters to fight in the finale for each contract. If there is only one contract, there are still TWO fighters fighting for it. So yes there is only one final fight for this season, but the fight you are referring to was a semifinal.. so yes he could have fought the week before and still be in it. Guess you weren't thinking about this one.

I'm not sure you guys watch the same show. When the semi finals are annouced, Dana always states the fights will be next week. Meaning they'll fight the following week. They don't push one out 2 weeks. Generally there are two fights same day, watch some of the old videos when the fighters go back in the locker room, another fighter is taped up ready to go fight. ArmFarmer, moted (moted comes from the word demoted. Shortened to imply you're wrong and I am right. Made popular in the 70's and now making a come back on you). I don't care if you don't believe me.....just watch the season and when it validates what I said you can go sit on your thumb.

Are you guys gonna start raggin on me too once I admit, I too felt like the information was a little confusing. I had heard the rumor about Kimbo losing his first fight too, but it was just that, a rumor. I hadn't heard anyone confirm this so, when one of the gotdamn bens made that statement, I was like "huh???". Then when "Blackleg" said another fighter confirmed Kimbo lost on twitter I'm thinkin, there has to be proof then, yet I have seen no or, heard of any proof. I'M CONFUSED..........
