Granted old Fedor can and will probably submit Rogers the first time this hits the ground, I think Brett has a lot of upside. Heavy hands, decent takedown defense, and the desire to finish fights. Not to sure about his chin or stamina but I like his workman-like attitude and anyone who calls out Kimbo for being the farce that he essentially is wins points by me.(and Night-elf Mohawk would utterly smash Kimbo) Win or lose Rogers has potential.

Fedor again proves that he negotiates business deals like he is the p4p HW in the world but when it comes to fight time he's facing a guy who's at best just cracking the top 10. Fedor claims to not think of himself as the MAN, and I don't argue he may just view this as a job. Still what he wanted from the UFC and what he is getting from Strikeforce suggests that he is indeed the p4p HW in the world. We all know this anyway, and those ads sure reinforce that point. So its odd that he fights for an organization that can't get their champs to defend titles and therefore can't establish number one contenders. I don't know if I should blame Coker or Overeem for this but it's wrong. If Rogers KOs Fedor, which some possibity exists, I still think Strikeforce can market Brett, the former 9 to 5er, better than the Last Emperor.

you know, just as doubt/wonder was starting to creep in when it comes to the "will brett be the one to beat fedor" question, watching those fights and the opponents he's faced gives me peace of knowing that he's gonna get wrecked by fedor.

i know that its possible to throw the case at me of him beating arlovski. im not gonna respond with the normal "arlovski was on the downward spiral when he faced rogers" but id probably say something close to it.

that being said. i think speed more than anything will be the death of rogers. all of the opponents shown above lack speed to a great degree, and im telling you when fedor show's him a speed that he's never seen before bretts gonna realize that he should have stuck it out at sams club.

Rogers has one chance. a punchers chance. and he hardly even has that. fedors standup is easily better than bretts. he is way more explosive and quick, and just as strong. yes, rogers may "fujita" him, but i wouldnt put $ on it.
