MMA Fighter Challenges People to Punch Him in the Face, Everyone Fails

Overeem/Rodriguez Unlikely for DREAM.15; Ishida, Omigawa Added to Lineup

(Alistair engages in a moment of reflection with his life-partner, Hilda. That’s the name of his sledgehammer. What, you didn’t think I was talking about the dumpy broad on the right, did you?)

Contradicting earlier reports, Alistair Overeem will probably not face Ricco Rodriguez at DREAM.15 next Saturday. Said Overeem’s trainer Martin De Jong: "If he’s going to fight, he’s probably not going to fight Ricco Rodriguez…We didn’t receive any contract. [DREAM] proposed Ricco Rodroguez, but they didn’t send a contract, and definitely we did not sign it." De Jong added that Overeem has no problem fighting Rodriguez, but they may skip DREAM.15 due to other issues with the promotion that he wouldn’t discuss.

Nevertheless, three additional fights were announced for the card today, bringing the current total to seven. They are…

Mitsuhiro Ishida vs. Daiki Hata: Japanese lightweight veteran Ishida drops to featherweight after taking consecutive losses to Mizuto Hirota and Gilbert Melendez. He faces Daiki "DJ.taiki" Hata, who most recently lost a decision to Kazuyuki Miyata last October.

Michihiro Omigawa vs. Jong Young Sam: DREAM poaches top-ten featherweight Omigawa from Sengoku and puts him up against Jong Young Sam, who has an 0-2 record, with both losses by first-round knockout. Bizarre matchup — was this part of Omigawa’s signing bonus?

Kazuhiro Nakamura vs. Karl Amoussou: PRIDE/UFC vet Nakamura — another Sengoku acquisition — meets aggressive French middleweight Karl "Psycho" Amoussou, whose last appearance against Trevor Prangley at a Strikeforce Challengers event in February ended in a technical draw due to accidental eye-poke.

@ Ballskicks

My proof is that it's funny. And entertaining. I personally could give two flying rat shits whether Ubereem or anybody else is on steroids, cocaine, urine, or human flesh. I will make fun of absolutely any person or thing, regardless of accuracy, for any reason, merely to entertain myself and others. That's all you get from me: wholesale hatred and inappropriate juvenile humor. I'm a pretty simple guy, in more ways than one.

I have seen the pictures of Overeem via a thread here on CP. If I did not know someone personally with a similar physique that attained the same results without roids, I would be more sceptical. It can be done, bodybuilders do it all the time. Not sure how Overeem did it but I suspect the same way.

ballkick - While there lacks any proof via hot piss, one has to wonder how someone can gain so much weight when they are training so hard. There is only so much horse meat in Holland... but plenty of juice to be had there. The strength of the rumor is based on his physique. Just google him and look at the photos yourself.

I know, I know... people gain gain weight legitimately via this method and that method and yadda yadda... No, I can't prove he's done 'em any more than other posters here, but it's reeeeeeeally hard to believe he went from a lanky middleweight all the way up to heavyweight in roughly 2 - 3 years time.

Genetics? No. A little help from science? Yup.

Can we just stop all this juicing nonsense and talk about Ubereem's sweater? What is it lined with, mink?
Ballkick- July 2, 2010 at 11:18 am
Thanks for the clarification....BTW Floyd Jr. is a great boxer but a horrible sportsman.....for all his skills he has no respect for others and therefore in my book no honor.
Back to Overeem any proof?,.....anyone?
El Guapo- July 2, 2010 at 11:08 am
Floyd accused Manny Pacquiao of juicing without any proof and it ended up derailing their Superfight, which would've paid them each 30+ mill and shattered PPV records. Not sure if Pacman eats horsemeat or not, but he's definitely never tested dirty..

I want to assure you I know who Pretty Boy Floyd is in the boxing realm, I thought perhaps you were referring to a poster here. I'm not a stunned cunt. but i can see how you might of thought I was. Anyway, explain Pretty Boy Floyd's relavance here?
El Guapo- July 2, 2010 at 10:48 am
First some guy says David Haye is respectable, then somebody asks who Floyd Mayweather is. I know they're different sports and all, but c'mon people!!

Note to self: Ixnay on the boxingnay references...nay
Ballkick- July 2, 2010 at 10:40 am
Excuse my ignorance who is he? "Pretty Boy Floyd"
Well I guess I am asking him then.
But this goes out to all here,... what is your proof?
I would love to see Overeem come to the UFC and test himself against all the heavyweights in the UFC. But if he's cheating then fuck no. Cheaters have no honor.
Ballkick- July 2, 2010 at 10:35 am
If Overeem is on the juice, then why has all his test turned up Negative?
Enquiring minds want to know.
What proof is there that he is on roids?
I really want an answer.
I'm not being flippant, or a smart ass.
I just would like to hear the base behind everyone's accusations.

edit.... from the pages of CP "Strikeforce heavyweight champ Alistair Overeem has tested negative — that's right, negative — for anabolic steroids and drugs of abuse, based on independent testing administered by the promotion."
El Guapo- July 2, 2010 at 10:27 am
Ballkick.. Ask Pretty Boy Floyd and see what he says.

I could swear I was just reading a vanishing article about Eddie Bravo's departure and then, Bam, its gone. Not even a goodbye.
El Guapo- July 2, 2010 at 10:15 am
"Cocaine's a helluva drug.."

Or so I've heard. I personally wouldn't kn... Is this being recorded?
justscrappin- July 2, 2010 at 7:56 am
When you're putting coke vs. roids...it's really all about what you are trying to do. Overeem used to be skinny...needed some more meat...so he roided up. Ricco...was chubby...and needed to drop weight....steady diet of grapes, water and cocaine. Look at the man...he is svelter then he has ever been. These guys know exactly what substances to abuse at just the right time.
ArmFarmer- July 2, 2010 at 7:54 am
Ah so that's what he's been using to crush all those cans...
ScarTissue- July 2, 2010 at 7:50 am
After reem destroyed Fujita I think he felt bad enough that he wont crush cans like that anymore.

meh I'm probably wrong.
Viva Hate- July 2, 2010 at 7:39 am
A shame I am sure everyone was looking forward to the ultimate match up of cocaine vs. steroids.
