We gotta admit, we like the way this Russell Brewer kid rolls. Props to our associates at Middle Easy for the find on this vid, which is alleged to show Brewer’s professional MMA debut at an event called “24/7 Entertainment: Professional Cage Fighting” in Midland, Texas recently. As you can see, Brewer lowers the boom on unfortunate opponent Christopher Golden with a Superman punch-knee to the face combo during the first five seconds of the bout. Then Brewer stands over Golden’s stiff, lifeless body for a moment to admire his handiwork, to his credit not landing any unnecessary strikes on the fallen man. Then (if the name of the YouTube channel is any indication) Brewer takes it upon himself to post the video online, possibly creating the channel for this express  purpose, since it’s the only video on there. And that, Potatoans, is your Wednesday morning crash course in how to be a 21st Century digital badass.

Badass my foot. He just scored a fantastic W; what's wrong with flaunting it? Were soccer kicks allowed? If so, he should have landed one or two on his foe while he was down. The fight's not over until the ref says it is.

around the 25 second mark, the doc checking on our unlucky victim pulls up the waistband on his pants and checks down on his junk. wtf? is this normal? does this happen every time someone gets ktfo'd and i've just never spotted it?

man, I can't imagine weighing 125. I'm hoping to get to 199 in the next month for a tourney. I'm getting tired of grappling super heavy weights.

Nope, If he is some random guy at our gym then he's a coward and we made tons of jokes about it openly I really am a hard working guy due to contrary belief. I put the time in day in and day out and I think it's about to pick up a bit. I plan on trying to drop to 125lbs real soon here.

What would make me smile would be to see KarmaAteMyCat finish his own (hopefully coming soon) pro debut in similar fashion.

That would water down the hateraid a bit.

the punch did connect, but it was just a grazing blow. enough to get him to try and shoot anyways. i dont pretend to think that this fight makes me a great fighter or that it will happen again next fight. there are two other vids of me on youtube, see for yourself. but i train at a great gym (octagonmma.com) and have a desire to get better. thanks for all the encouragement.

all I'll say is I'm there most every weeknight at 6:30-6:45. sometimes I'm in before 5 for submission grappling. You don't need to know who I am, you need to take the advice of what a douche you are and to be more humble.
