As the story goes, Monson and others were trying to block Republican delegates from entering the convention; he was detained but not arrested. Now if someone could explain why he has a tattoo of Bubbles on his back, that would be very helpful…

@ PoliSci fan - That is actually a very good point. He is sort of a walking contradiction.
In practice though, anarchy is usually associated with the left after the policies of the recent US administration didn't really go along with the traditional doctrine of the right. Oh well, what can you do?

stop ranting. you are a tool. The guy stood up for what he belives in, while you're mad at him and beating your keyboard about it. WHY don't you walk up to him and tell him that he is a tool? Opininons are like a-holes, everyone has one, but Monson unlike you has balls to stand up for his. And your little impression of him saying "I am really cool beceause I'm all tatted up and I 'Defy the establishment" just proves that you're a moron who's putting words in peoples mouths.
He IS a tool for all of the reasons you just described. He is swept up in the "I'm really cool because I'm all tatted up and I 'Defy the establishment' just because I can" bull shit. He doesn't really have a clue how things work and obviously still believes that a pre cold war era communist society is the way to go (please refer to any former Soviet state's economical system as evidence of how well that worked!) That is the DEFINITIVE tool. Now go read something other than MMA sites. (My first recommendation for you would be The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith, (Followed immediately by P.J. O'Rourke on the Wealth of Nations, so you could actually understand it), then pass them along to that douche Monson. Rant over.
The guy is a fucking hypocrite. On the first day of an anarchist society in the United States, see if Jeff Monson lets you and a friend have a football catch in what was once his privately-owned backyard and see if he doesn't come outside and try to chase you off screaming, "Get off my fucking property!"

a tool is someone who does what they're told without questioning. Someone who works on someone else's behalf willingly. A mindless drone.
I'm pretty sure Monson (who has a masters in psychology) is well aware of his own intentions & is doing it of his own volition & beliefs. That's the polar opposite of a tool.
