One night after being dominated by Georges St. Pierre at UFC 158, Nick Diaz and some of his homies were apparently stopped and detained by police. Diaz tweeted the above photo afterwards — with the caption “Fuck they got us
” — but later deleted the post. However, two more photos from the incident remain on his Instagram account, which we’ve placed below…

I’m guessing Alix is his tax attorney? Unfortunately, we don’t have any details about what led to Diaz being sat down on a sidewalk by some cops, or exactly where this happened, but I think we can assume it had something to do with marijuana smoke comically pouring from the windows of Vic’s 1982 El Dorado as he slowly completed a left turn at a red light with his hazard lights on. We’ll update you when we know more.
UPDATE – 3/19
Wow. When we are on we are on. Although it turns out that Diaz was “released without incidents from the scene,” you better believe that the driver of the car he was in committed at least two of the infractions we predicted using the scientific method of stereotype. Via TMZ:
Turns out Diaz did have a run in with cops Sunday night — but only because he was a passenger in a car that was pulled over for going the wrong way down a one way street.
Sgt. David Moranz from the Citrus Heights PD tells TMZ the driver of the car was arrested on an outstanding warrant and another passenger in the car was arrested for possession of concentrated cannabis … but Diaz “was never arrested and was released without incidents from the scene.”
As much as we’d like to poke fun at Diaz for his continuous missteps with the law, we should probably just be thankful that his driver didn’t have outstanding gang-related murder charges. Small victories, Nation.

Seriously? Woulda shoulda coulda? I'm pissed Condit got robbed but your stoner/boy was owned. He lost every aspect of that fight by being outclassed from minute one. And how you assume anyone who likes GSP to Lesner means you been hitting the pipe too much as well, pipe, pole, whatever. Just get over it, Diaz both choked when he had opportunity (standing) and as usual, Caesars BJJ was over rated. At least in the deep end of the pool.
