what i find interesting in all of this is how gender roles are being played out within the UFC. dana white has created an environment that is hostile to women. there are no women competitors. ring girls and interviewers are chosen for their looks, not for their credibility. At this point as far as combat sport's go, Tae Kwon Do tournaments are a very safe bet for any women with the desire to compete. It does suck for them, but look how long it has taken for the UFC to be even remotely taken seriously. There is still a LONG way to go for all of MMA.
