Good news for all us po’ folks: UFC 105 (November 14th; Manchester, England) will be broadcast via tape delay on Spike. In the main event, Randy Couture kicks off one last title run when he takes on light-heavyweight Brandon Vera, who has won his last two bouts against Mike Patt and Krzysztof Soszynski. According to Vera in the interview above, the prospect of fighting a living legend like Randy was the only thing that would make him want to fight in England so soon after his last fight. Couture was an early influence an him, and he describes the matchup as "an honor and a blessing and a punishment, all at the same time." Vera also says his underutilized wrestling is "retarded" (as in, retarded-awesome), though he’ll be standin’ and bangin’ as much as possible. Will the Truth finally silence the haters by conquering the 46-year-old Hall of Famer? Your predictions, please.
